Cheapest way to transport a car from Maryland to Texas?
Question:
What is the cheapest method to transport a car from Baltimore Maryland to Houston Texas? Are there any companies you would recommend? Should i choose a rail company or an auto transport company i don't want the car driven. I wouldn't have asked you guys if i had to drive it. Thanks

Answer:
Go to your local truck stop, and post an ad on their "Load board" Stating you need to move a car from Baltimore to Houston. If a flatbed driver sees your ad, he'd be willing to do it cheap if he's "Deadheading" back to Houston. You might also run an ad in your local paper, advertising for someone needing a ride to Houston. Ordinarily you would pay for all fuel, and help with meals. Make sure the person has full coverage insurance, and get a copy of his Certificate of Insurance. Provide him with your registration, but not the title. Make him sign a notarized release from all traffic violations.

how much miles is it from NYC to Baltimore Maryland or from NYC to Miami in car?

Do you mean how "many" miles? Try using Google Maps or a similar application.

Question about a movie being filmed in Baltimore, Maryland?
Question:
When I was was in Baltimore a few weeks ago (specifically July 28-31st, Otakon weekend) I was stopped at a light when a bunch of cop cars came through to block traffic. Then, a silver car comes around the corner with a camera attached. I was just curious if any Baltimore natives knew what movie was being filmed or anything about the filming at all. I thought there might have been a newspaper article or something since that's what happened when part of a Clint Eastwood film was done here.

Answer:
Don't know about the specific movie, but many movies are filmed in Baltimore because Barry Levinson and John Waters are from Baltimore.

I received a parking citation in Baltimore Maryland, but I live in Delaware. Should I pay it?
Question:
I don't plan to be visiting baltimore again in a very long time, so I figure, why not just ignore this ticket? They aren't going to come to my house and tow away my car, so why worry? If you're going to answer based on what you consider the "safest thing to do," please, save it. If you have anecdotal experience they may be of relevance, please, share it!

Answer:
You live in Delaware, so there's a good chance you'll be in Maryland again some time soon since no point in Delaware is more than 35 miles from Maryland. If Maryland is like Delaware, they can boot your car anywhere in Maryland over this. They will boot your car in Rehoboth Beach over a parking ticket in Wilmington. Also, if you don't pay, the ticket goes before a judge. If he wants to play hardball, he can suspend your driving privileges in Maryland until you pay up. If you ever got pulled up for speeding in Maryland or moved to another state and needed to change over your driver's license, that's going to really screw you up.

How do you get to the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore?
Question:
I have gotten many different responses from both people and websites on the easiest and fastest way to get to the Maryland Zoo. I am from Baltimore so I don't live too far, and I was wondering if anyone could share the best ways they have gone. I am bringing a child with me, but he is not my child, so although Park Heights Avenue seems like an easy enough way to go, it goes through some bad neighborhoods that I'm not comfortable driving through with a small child in tow. I have heard from some that taking 83 is best, and others say just go Northern Parkway. I am nervous about getting lost with this child in the car, and really all I want to know are people's experiences going different ways and which way they have found works best. Thanks so much for any and all help!

Answer:
I wish you would have said what part of Baltimore you're coming from. Since you're skeptical about Park Heights Ave. and other neighborhoods - I'll give you the best way since I know the neighborhood like the back of my hand. From the north or south - take I-83 to Exit 9, Cold Spring Lane West. At the second traffic light (there's a police station at the first traffic light), take a left onto Greenspring Avenue South. At the bottom of the hill - keep going straight into the park. Follow signs for the Maryland Zoo. Reverse procedure on the way out.

ok im from baltimore city maryland and wanna open a boxing gym.?
Question:
ok im still young but after high school i am planning on opening a boxing gym or a car suply store up in the city which one would do better you think i mean im a boxer and all but also a mechanic i love cars and boxing what should i do which one would do the best?

Answer:
Why not have both a garage that doubles as a boxing gym, i mean really , i get the impression that you are equally passionate about both, and if you could only afford one, flip a coin, but like you said you are "still young" and these economic times are a challenge. Go join the Navy or the Air Force, you could do both in those 2 branches and you wont have to get shot at or blown up in Iraq or Afghanistan. Whatever you decide good luck to you and don't forget to live it up, life is quick and life is too short make it count.
