Anyone sick of the nascar wannabes with the extremely LOUD exhaust pipes? The boom cars are bad enough. I can't even go out in my yard without feeling like I'm living in the middle of a racetrack. These guys don't realize that the smaller their penis is, the louder their trucks and cars are. How do you feel about this? I find that the trucks with the huge pipes are more aggressive drivers as well. Ever been tailgated by one? They have no internal power and obviously a low IQ. So they can press a gas pedal and make noise. Oh yeah, I'm impressed.

I agree!!! There are a lot of redneck types around here too. Having a loud truck or car doesn't make you tough or cool. Another thing that bugs me is people that stick a wing and loud exhaust on their car, then think they are in fast and the furious. They are sad people who seek attention.

Unless the accident is still under investigation, anything contained in the police report is officially public record and anyone can obtain a copy.

Have you filed for unemployment compensation? Getting fired doesn't necessarily mean that you're ineligible. I'd suggest trrying the salvation army as far as getting help keeping your utilities on. And you have just identified my objection to internet phone service. You may be out of luck on the phone. With such limited funds available to organizations who provide aid, they won't help you with *everything*, just bare necessities. And the internet just doesn't fall into that category. You may need to consider going the other direction and get basic landline phone service and dial up internet. You can always upgrade again later. You may be able to get a little bit towards your mortgage from charitable aid agencies, but don't count on it. Depending on the size and make up of your family, you may be able to get food stamps and *possibly* some financial assistance from your county welfare agency, but they consider your assets, including house and car, when determining eligibility. It's a bad time to be unemployed...mostly because there's just so much of it going around.... Resources are stretched to the limit and there doesn't seem to be any relief on the horizon. I have a 2005 nissan altima and I put 20 inch rims on it I am wanting to lift the car about 2 inches. Does anyone know a place around lake charles or lafayette louisiana that does this.I live in Kinder.

Well you might be able to get this lift height from "Air shocks" or you may need to replace the stock springs. these two would be the least expensive...Air bags require alot of mods and $. I think you can fit the 20 inchers without the lift. ask your wheel shop and or call a Nissan dealer. Best wishes... "/JOe

I bought a used car for 2K off a friend from work. He works offshore as well as me and keeps using this as an excuse as to why I never get a check. I bought this car and waited for 6 months on the title . I told him finally that I would return it and I wanted my money back.I told him he could make payments because I understand 2K is a lot to give over at once. He still owes me 1700. I have copies of the checks made out to him and emails. I can also get bank statements showing he cashed the checks. It's going on a year now and the whole situation still is not remedied I bought the car from him. He lives in Lake Charles , La and I lived in Livingston , Tx ; which court system should I use?Can I sue him? I have no clue how to do any of this. moved here a year ago and haven't really gone out and gotten to know anyone. My husband and I definitely have learned a few things . You have to be d*** to people basically. The other lesson we learned is to NEVER EVER let anyone stay with us.You end up losing friends over being a lot nicer than you would a stranger.
