Iowa Residents: will you travel to fair? Public transportation? Ticket supplied?
Question:
Here's the deal according to story at DES MOINES Register online story -- (August 13 is day of the Straw Poll voting) Iowa Republicans opened their mailboxes Friday to find straw poll invitations – again – from presidential candidate Tim Pawlenty, this time personalized with a campaign bus schedule. For example, West Des Moines Republicans were given a “bus ticket” for buses leaving the Walmart near Jordan Creek mall at 8 a.m., 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. Campaign aides declined to share the full bus schedule with the press, but said there’s a network of transportation options. Politico’s Jonathan Martin reports that the campaign has also “cars dedicated to ferrying voters back and forth from suburban Des Moines to Ames (and) a hard count of over 2,000 dedicated supporters and a phalanx of over a dozen longtime operatives whipping votes.” In Ames, gates open at 9 a.m. for the Iowa Straw Poll and voting is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________ 10 points to be awarded for polite and positive replies -- have a nice Saturday

Answer:
Bachmann campaign gave away 4,000 tickets ($30 apiece) -- such a deal -- voting is subsidized by those running ! ! !

rebate on renting vehicle..car problems?
Question:
The hose that connects water pump to radiator is cracked and they don't know when they will be able to find the piece... I need to rent a car and wondering if anyone knows a cheap place or a way to get a rebate on a car.. I am in the west island in quebec (dollard des ormeaux)....

Answer:
I wish I could help you, but all I can provide is a suggestion to ask the mechanic at the shop where you are getting the car repaired. Some auto repair shops will either provide you with a loaner until your car is repaired or give references where you can rent a car cheap. Good luck and sorry I couldn't have been more help.

French help: GCSE Coursework...?
Question:
Okay I need a little bit of help with my coursework. Could a french speaker please proof read what I've done so far and show me any mistakes, including accents. I'd like it to sound fluent also and not like I used a dictionary or online translator so could you say what you would really say in French. Hope you know what I mean. And how do you say: Or if you like to watch sport, there is a massive footbal stadium in Wembley. It is famous for being one of the best stadiums on earth. The hotels in London vary from the very grand and expensive, to the very simple. There is a hotel to suit everyone. An action-packed animation. (movie) I realise there's loads here, so thanks in advance for any help you are able to give.

Question:
You can go on a bike tour and go around all of Brussels and see the sites that’s listed above and more. You can visit the Atomium. The Atomium was made in 1958 when Brussels was chosen to hold the worlds fair. The Atomium is modelled after a crystallized molecule of iron magnified 150 thousand million times. Also you can visit Old Town. Old town is considered the crown jewel of Brussels. Old Town is the Grand Place, built as a merchants’ market in the 13th century Means of transport Most of the public transport in Brussels is organised by the STIB (Société des Transports intercommunaux bruxellois). The transport that the STIB organises includes metro lines which go o the east and west part of Brussels, pre-metro lines (trams). Another form of transport is cycling, with cycling you can organise or attended a bike tour around Brussels. An interesting one is water travel. Another is by taxi and car. Its due very soon(two days) so i don't have time to translate due to major end of semester exams, I'm using up a lot of time writing this now in fact. 10 points for best answer and ill link you to a random q of mine (which will be for the best answer) so they get an extra 10 points. Please I'm despite lol LOL see this is how muddled up i am atm i meant english to french!!!!!!!!!!!! Good spotting jedg

Answer:
Une autre mode de transport intéressant est le voyage sur le canal/fleuve (not sure if there is a canal or a river in Brussels). # (you'd better say "Il" instead to avoid repeating)
