Is a city sticker needed for a car in Oak Lawn, Illinois?

We just moved into the area and I'm not sure who to call about it, because the DMV isn't even in Oak Lawn, it's in Bridgeview.

Answer:
If your residence is in Oak Lawn, go to the Village of Oak Lawn and purchase the Village of Oak Lawn vehicle sticker. You don't need to purchase the City of Chicago city sticker which is way too expensive anyway. However, you need to go to the state DMV, and the closest one to you is in Bridgeview, to transfer your car's license plates to Illinois plates if you are going to reside in Illinois on a permanent basis. I believe this needs to be done within a period of months. Check with the local DMV.

Can I back out of a car loan?

After signing for a car loan on a new car, I realized the dealer had added $1,930.00 in fees to the loan balance. Needless to say, he did everything he could to distract me and cover up the fees while he hurried to get the paper signed. I called him 24 hours later and asked if we could just void out the loan and I would immediately pay the full amount in cash. He refused to void out the loan and said yes I could pay it off, but would still owe the fees. Doesn't one have a certain amount of time (such as 3 days) to rescind a contract? Also, could this be classified as a UNILATERAL MISTAKE" when one did not fully understand the terms of the contract? When I made the phone call to the dealer, I recorded the conversation and advised him I was doing so as proof that I made an attempt to rescind 24 hours later. The dealer is in Oak Lawn, Illinois.

Man, don't kill that S2k with appearance mods.... You have a sick car, and people know it's sick, why ruin it? If you really want to do that stuff to it.. You can find lots of local shops that sell rims, and you can buy rims online and have them shipped to your door with tires on them if you'd like. Catback exhaust... Go to a muffler shop. Tell them exactly how you want the exhaust done, they will do it for you. Spoilers... Online is your best bet for that. No local shop will have spoilers for an AP2 laying around. Unless you want those ridiculous looking adjustable race/drift spoilers, and then I would hate looking at your car... Unless of course it was on a track burning rubber up drifting.

No but his conduct was not right either! In this day and age you can NOT put a child that is not yours into your vehicle without his parent's permission and drive away somewhere! That is kidnapping! The proper thing to have done would have been to have detained the child at the side of the road where he was stopped and called the police to come to him. What has gotten this fellow into trouble is the act of TAKING the child away from the spot where he was initially detained. Again the furthest that child should have been taken should have been the side of the road. Then he would not have this burden.
