Answer:
theres a reason car dealers spend SO MUCH $$$ on advertising: car ownership is pure heartache--maintenance, licensing, inspection, insurance, gasoline, tires, parking, registration, tickets, break-downs that leave you stranded, wrecks, cleaning, oil changes, oil leaks, frozen windshields, tow trucks, etc...it really s**ks. stick with a moped, bicycle, roller blades or public transit and walking. less expensive, healthier and more fun. cars will make a wage slave out of you.

what should i do today?

How do I give more to my boyfriend?
Question:
Yesterday night my boyfriend and I were talking about life and all of a sudden he said I treat him like shit, and I don't give enough. He is 20 almost 21 and I'm 18 living at home with no job, very little money and no car. He lives in aurora an I live in glen ellyn that's at least two towns over. It's not like I can ride my bike over there so he always comes out here, I didn't even know that having him come out here was that big of an issue. Oh and to top things off he thinks I have my license when I don't, and I can't tell him I don't have it because he will be pissed and drop me then and there

Answer:
I can see both sides. On one side, although having a job isn't essential, is there something keeping you from working? He might feel like he's at your service all the time, and might think you are apathetic about the relationship. You should just get your license as soon as possible, that's an easy fix. I know sometimes my girlfriend will send me on errands and I'll feel like I'm her servant, but right when I start to get irritated, she says or does something very sweet for me, and then it's all OK. Call me old fashioned, but I believe the man should always put the woman at first priority and do everything he can for her, as long as it's not over the top and as long and she doesn't stop respecting the man, and expecting him to do it. A little push/pull is good sometimes in a relationship. There's both sides, you should both have a sit down and discuss it again. Giving more in a relationship isn't about money, it's about doing things for each other.

Say Goodnight, Gracie by: Julie Reece Deaver?
Question:
I have to right a report or whatever for this book and i've read it be4 but its been like 3 yrs. this is what i remember... i need to add another paragraph or two! anyone who has ever read please help!!! Seventeen-year-old, Morgan Hackett, must face life on her own when her best friend is killed by a drunk driver. Jimmy Woolf and Morgan were born within a week of each other to women who themselves were close friends in high school. The two have been almost inseparable since birth. In Say Goodnight Gracie, by Julie Reece Deaver, Hackett and Woolf spend almost all of their free time together, and are supportive of each others future careers. Morgan dreams of someday becoming an actress and Jimmy wants to dance professionally. Morgan and Jimmy live in Glen Ellyn, a Chicago suburb, but Jimmy’s interest in dancing and Morgan’s interest in acting frequently brings them to the city. Living an almost fairy-tale life in Glen Ellyn, Morgan and Jimmy are surrounded by caring adults who support their theatrical ambitions. Help from their mothers, Morgan and Jimmy frequently skip school for auditions and workshops. They seem to rely only on each other, ignoring opportunities to make friends. Little does Morgan know she will be forced to find someone else or face life alone. There is no one in the world that knows as much about Morgan as Jimmy does. He knows how to calm her, how to make her brave, and how to make her laugh. Just as they are discovering that they're on to something more than just friendship, a very terrible car accident occurred killing Jimmy and affecting Morgan greatly. Now Morgan has to live without the one person she loves the most. As she begins a downward spiral into depression, she wonders how she will ever cope without Jimmy. Without Jimmy around, it's like the best part of her has died. The road to recovery is hard for Morgan. "I guess I did go a little crazy, my aunt Lo, who's a hospital psychiatrist says grief travels a certain route - that if you could plot it out on a map you'd have a line that twists and weaves and eventually ends near the point of departure. I say near because even though you may survive the grief, you will never be the same." With the help of her parents, her aunt, and Jimmy's parents Morgan finally comes to cope with Jimmy's death. there are some errors, im still workin on it....

Will a police officer lose his pension over a felony conviction?
Question:
60 days for cop who watched porn in squad car - A retired Illinois State Police trooper who admitted viewing ch ild por nography on a state-issued laptop computer while sitting in his squad car supposedly looking for speeding motorists was sentenced today to 60 days in the DuPage County Jail. Juan Rodriguez, 51, of Glen Ellyn, a 27-year veteran of the Illinois State Police, pleaded guilty today to official misconduct and possession of chi ld po rnography. He is to begin serving his sentence later this year following the completion of a s ex offender evaluation. Assistant State's Attorney Helen Kapas Erdman told Judge George Bakalis that Rodriguez's name first appeared in connection with chi ld po rnography during a 2003 federal investigation into ch ild po rnography sites, and then again in 2008 when another federal investigation showed him viewing ch ild po rnography sites and using a personal credit card to pa y $ 99 to join a website. - The investigation led back to the defendant’s state-issued laptop, which he used while he was on duty for Illinois State Police District 15, the tollway division. He was assigned to an overtime detail designed to run traffic patrols. "He was using the ISP mobile data computer in his squad to view and download these images," Kapas Erdman said. "He claimed to have his interest sparked by newspaper articles and he wanted to see what the big deal was," she said. Bakalis was told that Rodriguez looked at the websites two or three times a year over six years. Bakalis also sentenced Rodriguez to 30 months of s ex offender probation and ordered him to register for life as a c hild s ex offender and pay a $2,000 fine. "He denies ever having tou ched a ch ild in a s exual manner," said Brian Telander, defense attorney. "He is a decorated Navy veteran." Rodriguez retired from the state police before he was charged in 2009, but was aware of the investigation. Rodriguez declined comment today. "He claimed he was bored on the overtime shift and the obsession overcame him," Kapas Erdman told Bakalis. "He claims it sparked his interest, but not sexual desire. However, he did claim he would view them at times before having relations with his girlfriend." The defendant has no previous criminal record and faced up to five years in prison. Kapas Erdman said he is expected to lose his pension because of a felony conviction
