Traveling from Carol Stream to Chicago ?
Question:
I'm working on getting a job that requires me to work in downtown Chicago. What I'm trying to avoid is having to drive my car to Chicago through all the traffic and trying to find some place to eventually park it. What I'm trying to figure out is if there are any trains, buses, or if the "L" train will get me relatively close to my destination. I'm trying to get to is E Lake St. and Prudential Plaza, again this is in downtown Chicago. If anybody could help me find a route that doesn't involve me having to use my car I would appreciate it.

Answer:
Try this: For public transportation within Chicago, go to http://www.transitchicago.com/. Google Maps now provides CTA directions for ponts within the city. Go here to see how to use: http://maps.google.com/help/maps/transit... To get around in the Chicago area, including suburbs, go to RTA's website (includes Metra, PACE and CTA): http://tripsweb.rtachicago.com/

Inexpensive Commercial vehicle parking-- Dupage county?
Question:
I have a 16ft box truck that i use to make deliveries during the day, at night i need somewhere to park it. i am currently paying 40$ a month to park it on a gated lot in villla park. This would be fine except my warehouse is in South elgin, my delivery route is in bloomingdale, carol Stream, glendale hts area. ideally i wold like to find a place between South Elgin and Roselle (which is where i currently live). It doesnt have to be gated. I just need to be able to drive my car there in the morning, swap my car for the truck and swap them back at the end of the day, I must leave the truck there overnight almost everyday of the week, outdoors without a canopy or any other sort of protection is fine. If anyone knows anyone who owns a vacant lot, or unused land around hanover park, bartlett, roselle area please let me know

Answer:
As I don't live in the Dupage County area I can only offer suggestions. It might be possible to find a private lot by placing an ad in the throw-away advertiser in your area or to inquire at some of the storage facilities that often provide RV parking spots as an adjunct to their storage lockers. Good luck!

How do I get a release of lien from a closed company in Illinois?
Question:
I live in Missouri and my grandmother is trying to transfer her car title to me. The title is from Missouri. The lien on the car was with a company in Illinois that has been closed since 2003, so I can't get a lien release from them. My local DMV directed me to the Jeff City DMV, who directed me to the Secretary of State's office for a Certificate of Fact. They told me to contact Illinois' SoS since that's where the closed company was located. They transferred me to 6 different people, none of which could help me. Does anybody know how to get a release of lien from a closed company in Illinois? BTW, the company is: Premier Auto Finance PO Box 6216 Carol Stream, IL 60197 Thank you. The last person I talked to did say I might have to talk to a lawyer.

Answer:
send a registered letter to the company listed on the lien and use the returned to sender as a noitce that the company is closed and did not issue a forwarding address.

Question:
The man laughed heartily as he passed out flowers to passer by’s, the bells rung and the whole street was full of cheer and good spirit, even the trees seemed to be happy, swaying to the beat of the loud music. Two young lovers strolled up to the man and asked for a rose, he nodded as he handed one out, but a sudden gust of wind blew the rose out of his grasp and along the well lit street. It skimmed across the serene water in the stream, leaving small ripples in its wake. Round letterboxes and lamp posts, blown this way and that by the on coming cars, the rose journeyed through the town. It twirled and tumbled across the gnarled trunks of trees and crumbling gravestones, before coming in to contact with Patience's face. She extended an arm and grasped the delicate stalk of the rose, before releasing it and watching the little flower dance away with the crisp winter breeze. There was silence in the grace yard, apart from the faint noises from inside the church. The sky was black, there was no cloud in sight and the only light was coming from the slight crack in the large oak door, some few meters away from where she stood. It was Christmas Eve and the sound of Carol Singers reverberated round the stone walls, Patience sunk to her knees, tears rolling down her pale cheeks. But she was not sure what she mourned. She stayed there for a few more minutes before straightening up and brushing out the creases from her dress, Patience ran her fingers through her blonde curls and began to walk away. Her footsteps echoed on the cobbled pathway as began to quicken her pace, applying a thin layer of mascara on her lashes as she walked, hoping that it would hide the smudge marks around her eyes. I asked a question about this story beginning about an hour ago, even if you have not read that, please tell me whether you think this extract is good? Rate out of ten please? Well to be honest Corey, you can't slate it till you can do better. I've seen your questions and yours ideas and they're crap. At least my story will be original, not just a Percy Jackson copy, because that is what everyone else seemed to think. I also saw some questions you answered and each one is sarky and rude. I don't take advice from tw*ts.

Answer:
Jessica, To be honest, and honesty is the best policy when critiquing someone’s work, I would give it a 5 just for the premise. I like it, but you have run on sentences throughout the whole piece. It’s a matter of you putting commas where periods should be. Here they are. Yours and the edited version: The man laughed heartily as he passed out flowers to passerby’s, the bells rung and the whole street was full of cheer and good spirit, even the trees seemed to be happy, swaying to the beat of the loud music. Answer:
It is a very good beginning! BUT, I was a little distracted by the rose's journey for some reason. :D It was cool how the rose was kind of traveling through town, taking the readers with it. Thats clever. I thought it would end up in the graveyard for some reason, and I was all waiting to read about it. xD Anyway, it has great description and I give it a 9 out of 10 just because some sentences can be polished or ect. You should be really proud of the beginning, I enjoyed it alot. As I read this, I can't help but wonder in which time frame it is. lol

Please rate the beginning of my book?
Question:
I asked a question about this one hour ago and have since changed a great deal, please rate it out of 10 and explain why. Thanks! A sudden gust of wind uprooted the lily from where it stood, solitary against the night. It skimmed across the serene water in the stream, leaving small ripples in its wake. Round letterboxes and lamp posts, blown this way and that by the on coming cars, the lily journeyed through the town. It twirled and tumbled across the gnarled trunks of trees and crumbling gravestones, before coming in to contact with Patience's face. She extended an arm and grasped the delicate stalk of the lily, before releasing it and watching the little flower dance away with the spring breeze. The sky was black and silent, there was no cloud in site and the only light was coming from the slight crack in the large oak door that led into the church. It was Christmas Eve and the sound of Carol Singers reverberated round the stone walls, Patience sunk to her knees, tears rolling down her pale cheeks. But she was not sure what she mourned. Okay - I know the beginning is about the lily and I didn't want it to be, but this is a novel for my English lesson and the only condition was that we had to start with an object (i.e. a flower or a plastic bag or a chocolate wrapper). Any suggestions would be nice but before anyone else tells me that I shouldn't have the lily as a beginning, I know, so don't bother commenting please. Lol, thanks for pointing that out Alicia! Okay, pretend I wrote 'crisp' breeze instead of spring! But no, the story is supposed to be about Patience so I will describe her! Thanks x

Answer:
6 The writing is good, but things just don't match up. First off, a Lilly is a pretty big, heavy, and stout flower. It would take some strong sher winds to pluck it out of the ground. Then it somehow stayed on Patience's face until she grabbed it. And lastly, a little flower that dances with the "spring" breeze and then promptly moves right into Christmas really gets around. :D Maybe start with a rose peddle that someone is taking to their X-mas lover, or the bells of the church.

Answer:
You're going to have to ultimately get a judge to do this. I'd say, keep the car in Grandma's name. I have no idea how expensive the car is - but it's at least six years old. You could easily end up spending more money on the legal issues, than this car is worth.
