Who can legally put red and blue cop lights in their personal cars in NY?

I want to either do EMT, Volunteer Fire or Auxiliary Police. Which of these allows you to have lights and sirens in your personal vehicle because that would be pretty awesome. Also which has the shortest training because I have class every day. I'd probably do training and volunteer in either Queens or Long Island because I live in Queens but go to school at Stony Brook out in Suffolk.

In accordance with NYS Art. 9, § 375 (41). Colored and flashing lights. In any city in this state (New York) having a population of one million or more, one amber light may be affixed to any motor vehicle owned or operated by a volunteer member of a civilian or crime patrol provided such volunteer civilian or crime patrol member has been authorized in writing to so affix an amber light by the police commissioner of the municipality in which he patrols, which authorization shall be subject to revocation at any time by the police commissioner who issued the same or his successor in office. It would be my strongest suggestion that you check with the Chief of Police in your community to find out what the local laws permit. Such amber light may be operated by such volunteer civilian or crime patrol member in such a vehicle only when engaged in a patrol operation as defined and authorized by rules and regulations promulgated by the police commissioner and only in such a manner and at such times as may be authorized by the police commissioner pursuant to said rules and regulations.

I'm on the second island on Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories and have beat the game so I got the suite safehouse and found out that It was a 3 car garage but I try to fit 5 cars in there and it works, but when I leave the area for 5 minutes or get wasted-busted either one or all the cars will be gone. I tryed putting one car in then go save the game with all 6 cars but they still disapper. How do I make it stop? Even as silly as the "junkyards" answer might sound, it's actually pretty relevant. Most American-made vehicles that are 18 years old are not on the road. You're searching for a needle in a haystack. The good thing is, if you find one, it'll probably be inexpensive. You've tried the main avenues (autotrader, eBay, Yahoo! Autos, etc). Keep trying, as one might pop up someday. You might also have to widen your search area on cars.com or autotrader. If it's really worth getting the car, finding one maybe 2-300 miles away would present for an interesting road trip to get it...

Mistake on Neighbors Blue Print Plan for Expanded House.?

My neighbor has built a huge house and is asking for an variance. A variance in this case means that he has or will cover more of a percentage of his lot than the Town allows. I looked at the "plot plan" at the town hall and it says the property line is at least 2 feet over what I believe is the property line. I will try to prove I am right by using the title or deed in the Town records office. I know I have a 50 foot front and I believe has 50 or less but his blue print shows 53 feet across. I just don't know how his surveyor and builder could made such a mistake. The property line has been an issue since they moved in 10 years ago. What are the implications of his plans, and the zoning office apparently accepting it? Do I just write a letter to zoning and ask that the variance he is asking for to build a porch and and two car garage is not fair because it ruins the view completely for his neighbor on the other side and that I don't want him to go up on the porch 30 feet, and it ruins the "feel" of the neighborhood. No one else is that close to the road on the whole street. This is very disturbing as he has bared false witness twice. Once saying the the other neighbor who lost her view, did not mind the porch as he asked me to sign a letter saying it was ok with me. And secondly he told my roommate that his property comes over another three feet into my land. He must think I am very dumb and unable to defend my rights. He is very rich and we are very poor and don't have money for a surveyor... but some how I will hire someone. I am upset. My deed says 50 feet across the front. An old plot plan for my house says 16 feet to the property line on the south My house is 25 feet across. 25 feet and 16 feet is 41 feet leaving 9 feet to the north to the property line. His front is smaller than 50 feet and his plot plan is 8.9 feet to his north 28 feet across and 16+ to my property on the south. That would be 52.9 feet across and I believe his deed will be 50 feet or less. What are these implications? If his plot plan has been accepted does he have a legal right to claim my property? Do I have any rights to sue for the cost of a surveyor either against him or the town or the surveyor that did his plot plan. We live near Long Island Sound and the view is valuable. I am with linked. You can likely prove this, however, you are incorrect, your title is not any sort of proof where the property lines are. You will need a survey of your own done. Without you doing that you will lose this issue, the judge will accept the other parties survey as proof regarding the line. You have the right to request that you be granted legal costs and costs of the survey in the event you are correct. The judge decides if your neighbor pays it or not. Because the neighbor has every reasonable reason to believe he is correct, he had a survey done the odds are the judge will NOT make him pay for yours. But it is up to him.

my home owners insurance went up and it was never used in 30 years?

I have lived here for over 30 years . i live across from a canal that has never flooded in all the hurricane years here on Long Island. Now out of the blue they just Doubled it. without warning. they said they forsee a major hurricane. They have been getting rich off of all the non use of my insurance by me .This seems so unfair and how can I fight it, we all want to not move out of new york but one by one our neighbors cant afford all the nonsence anymore. I understand when one has car insurance and you have an accident and use your insurance it goes up . but we never have... PLEASE what can we do.
