Wouldn't it be nice ot go to the store an no exactly how much things cost?
Question:
Upfront with all taxes and stupid hidden fees included. Buy a car without negotiations. To go and know exactly how much it will cost. No hidden "doc" fees or "gap" fees (like Terry Holmes Hyndai in Warner Robins, GA recently tried to pull on me). Or how about ordering phone or internet service for their advertised price only to get a bill for twice that ($215 after all the hidden connection shipping and modem fees.). Isn't it time we make a law requiring all fees to be included in the advertisements? Wouldn't it be nice to know exactly what your getting for exactly how much you pay? So does ANYBODY disagree?

Answer:
Which is why, if you really care, you need to ASK for a breakdown of all costs and fees, including taxes. I never buy a car unless they can show me the "out the door" price. It would be nice if there was a law that required this information up-front. However, in some cases, it's not that simple. Taxes and certain fees depend on other things and therefore cannot simply be "posted." Ask. If they refuse, then take your business elsewhere.

2004 Hyundai Tiburon Emission Failure Question?
Question:
I found a Tiburon being sold by a dealer in Ga. Good price with good mileage. I looked at the carfax report which they have for free here is what i found. It got into car accident at 4,000 miles but it got repaired by Hyundai and certified. It also has a paper trail and carfax trail on maintenance, emission test which it did pass then all of a sudden its reported that after the car was sold to the dealership they couldn't pass the emission test on it which was 2,000miles in a year of a difference from one owner to dealer. The dealer tried 4 times to pass the test but all those times it failed. Im in Warner Robins Ga and believe it or not here it is not required to get your emission on your car. Here is a more in def report of what the car has been thru.... http://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistory/p/Report.cfx?vin =KMHHN65F54U144576&partner=ECL_0 If someone with mechanical knowledge give me some inside advice. Stay away or if its a easy fix. I have been told from some friends you have to drive a car 90 miles for the computer to reset its self on most new cars after the battery dies for some time. Is that true? Could you list a list of things that could be wrong with a estimate amount of money that it would cost to fix it? Would you even buy it? Email me at marlene.t.vang@gmail.com if any questions in order to answer my questions if possible could you give me some kind of contact like a email in case i have further questions THANKS!

Answer:
Sometimes a car can be a lemon right off the lot... sometimes it takes a while. Whether or not the state requires emissions testing is irrelevent. If the car has low miles and the dealer can't even get it to pass emissions, then the car must ot be worth the time, effort, ot money to repair it properly. The dealer is probably trying to just get rid of the "great deal" they thought they had when they purchased the car initially. Without even asking one question, I can tell you if you intend on keeping this car for any long period of time and you need reliable transportation, pass. Go out and find something else. There are a lot of deals out there. Don't settle on this.

Excerpt from a short story, is it any good? I think a lot of it needs to be re-arranged?
Question:
The sun had just risen into sight at the edge of the high way as Stephen Warner held on to his steering wheel for dear life. He had been driving straight through for three full days and nights, and lets face it, his mind wasn't too "sound" even before losing that much sleep. He knew he was going to attract attention if he kept going at this pace. He knew he was speeding, he knew he had run at least one red light, and he knew that it wouldn't be long before someone in this God forsaken town would recognize him. He needed to sleep. Oh, how welcome it would be to just close his eyes for but a second! Already dozing off, Steven took the first exit he saw; Didn't care where it was, or what was there... Sherif, Tom "Boy" Robins had just finished his morning donut, sitting patiently at his "speed trap" as the guys at the station, so playfully, called it. Tom was a fairly short man with a lot of weight in the usual places and the typical "40's guy" hair piece that doesn't quite fit, but he managed to carry a little respectability. He knew what people thought the moment they saw him and he didn't care. Generally when people say they "don't care" it's more to make themselves believe than anything else. But Tom "Boy" really didn't give a rats ***. He spent his entire life, up until now, pleasing everyone else. Heck, it was even the reason he joined the force to begin with. Rather, his wife was the reason he joined the force. No one and nothing was ever good enough for her. That's why he now had the fortune to call her his "ex-wife". Thinking about his ex-wife first thing in the morning was never a good idea and now there would be H*** to pay for anyone who got in his way today. He gripped the shifter and focused his eyes on the road splayed out in front of him; He needed to prove he was worth something. In shock, out of the corner of his eye he caught the gleaming streak of light that was a silver '83 Thunderbird turbo coupe and immediately knew who it was and that this was going to be more excitement than this town had seen in about ten years, welcomed or not. As he stepped on the gas he heard the squealing satisfaction of his tires spinning out. The car ripped out of the ravine and the sirens cried out. Traffic sprawled out to the sides of the road to make way for this law man who smirked as he felt the respect and pride well up inside. The Thunderbird made a right at the next light and so did Tom. Both cars pulled into the parking lot at the locally owned drugstore and Tom took this to mean the guy was pulling over. Tom stepped out of the car and as he did, so did the massive 6'5" driver of the '83 Thunderbird. Tom, of course, already knew who this was. Stephen Warner casually strolled up to the entrance of the drugstore seemingly completely oblivious to the Sheriff standing right there, he tripped over his own two feet. Warner was older now, had to be about 28, his features more distinguished, his full head of hair slightly "salt-and-pepper" and his grey eyes shown his exhaustion. Tom smiled and told himself that he could break that pretty boy nose in three places if he wanted to, and for a moment he let himself believe it. Tom patiently waited, leaning against the driver side door of the Thunderbird, while Stephen slumped around inside the store. Five minutes later, he burst out the spinning door now carrying 4 of those new sports energy drinks, popped one open and dumped the entirety of it into his gaping mouth. "God, he's either drunk or half dead." Tom thought to himself as they made eye contact. --------- You probably can't tell yet but the story is about how three different people's lives are all affected by a single divorce. Have any advice for me? Even if you don't, could you tell me if it grabbed your attention? Or was it boring?

Answer:
The second paragraph gets you into the story, but by the third one it loses your attention. You should continue the second one showing what happened and then make a connection with what you wrote and the third paragraph.
