DID YOU SEE Police Officer To Be Charged After Killing Motorist While Racing To Safe Driving Campaign ? Question: STATESBORO, GEORGIA - A father was seriously injured and his son was killed Tuesday when a rental trailer they were towing was rear-ended on Interstate 16 by a police officer who specializes in nabbing aggressive drivers and who was en route to Chatham County to take part in a safe-driving campaign, officials said. Cpl. Robert Balkcom, an assistant commander of the Georgia State Patrol post in Statesboro, said no charges have been filed yet, but they are likely, against Dougherty County Police Officer Jeremiah Fenn, 25, of Albany. Officer Fenn was headed to Chatham County to take part in Operation Rolling Thunder, a 90-day effort to curb Savannah’s rising traffic fatality rate with the help of scores of officers from around the state. Officer Fenn was driving eastbound near Metter when he took his eyes off the road for a second to look at the computer mounted in his car and struck a trailer being towed by an SUV traveling in the same direction and in the same lane, Cpl. Balkcom said. The video camera in Officer Fenn’s car, which could have recorded the accident, was turned off, Cpl. Balkcom said. The SUV overturned several times, ejecting Milton Wilcox, 33, of Savannah, a passenger who was not wearing a seat belt, police said. Mr. Wilcox was pronounced dead at the scene. His father, William Wilcox, 57, of Savannah, the driver, was airlifted to Savannah’s Memorial Health University Medical Center with serious injuries, Cpl. Balkcom said. A two-mile eastbound stretch of the interstate was closed for about six hours while members of the Georgia State Patrol’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team investigated the accident, Cpl. Balkcom said. Witnesses told authorities that Officer Fenn’s police car was “traveling at a high rate of speed,” an issue that will be addressed by the investigation, Cpl. Balkcom said. “There will more than likely be charges,” he said. Officer Fenn is a participant in a statewide program known as Highway Enforcement of Aggressive Traffic (H.E.A.T.), a collaborative effort of the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety and eight local law enforcement agencies to nab aggressive drivers. Answer: and yet again I state you REALLY have some serious issues with the police don't you dear. You always seem to be able to hunt out the negative but NEVER the good that they do day in and day out just to keep the streets as safe as they can, you also seem to fail to recognise that in EVERY profession there is good and bad. This policeman will more than likely be charged and rightly so ONCE the whole story is out in the open, but I fail to see why you feel it is your god given right to "unmask" all the negatives you can possibly troll about the police force. |

what does Jesus Christ owe the African American community? Question: first of all you need to know that i am a white male,i have lived in florida and georgia my entire life.i was saved by jesus christ in a rural country church in statesboro georgia.i love and worship our lord jesus christ, many tragedies have struck me but i never doubted that the lord jesus christ is the savior of the world.but,my entire world came crashing down,i learned something about americas history that deeply disturbed me,some of you may not beleive this, but apparently a long time ago, black people were brought here to america to be slaves to white people.i just found this out a week ago.the question for me is,why did jesus christ allow this to happen?i thought jesus christ loved us,but now im not so sure.recently,i spoke to a black male pastor about americas negligence toward black people.the black baptist pastor said this:what has jesus christ done for me?jesus aint doin nuthin for me cuz im a black man!my car is about to break down, pretty soon im gonna have to walk my black ass Answer: Back up a minute. Its not that jesus owes anything to the black, people. No one has forced them to live in this country since the cival war. They had a right to leave if they chose. They chose to stay. Why? They can leave this country, any time they see fit. They chose to stay here and hollar racisim. yet poor people or white trash as they are called. are looked down up on. But being white. they can't hollar discriminagtion. Why? Black people are using there color to get what they want. Are you that stupid? And after how many years now. Has it been since thecival war? And you are just now finding out. Where have you been for the last 200 yrs? blacks aren't no different then white. I don't see no black preacher, coming to the aid of any white person who is being discriminated against. I don't see no jesse jackson or rev sharpten. coming to my aid. As for as the preacher mans car about ready to break down. well now. I'm sure its for a reason. Maybe it because God wants him to walk more, just to see if he will do it. Or bitch about it. Maybe your preacher man, has lost is faith in God. And is just using his position to get what he wants. God has done nuthin to the balck race. They have brought everything upon themself. Maybe they have gave up on their own faith. So they blame others for their misfortunes. So go on and keep believeing. in you preacher man. And maybe, just maybe. You may end up the fool. |
