Can I file civil/criminal charges against The City of Monroe, Georgia for tampering with video/audio evidence?

An individual cannot file criminal charges against anyone or anything. For criminal action, you would probably have to interest the county's prosecuting attorney, or failing that, the state attorney general. You may, however, be able to use the facts of the case as you describe it to prove yourself innocent of the charges filed against you. I hope your lawyer can work with it. As to civil action -- that becomes more interesting and (for the lawyer, anyway) lucrative. But you may need to be careful -- your state may have a law that says the cost of "frivolous" lawsuits may be charged against the plaintiff. This gets real expensive real fast. So consult an attorney before you do anything -- although the lawyer handling your criminal case may not be the person to attend to civil matters. And what exactly are "crooked necks"? Good luck.

How do I get my earnest money back from a real estate contract in Georgia if the builder goes out of business?

In june i obtained approval for financing on a new house in ga and put a contract on a new one with a company called martinique blue in monroe ga, I met with a real estate broker named tim blue with velocity real estate who is a partner with the builder signed the contract and gave a check for 1000 earnest money made out to martin communities, they said construction would start immediantly as house was already framed, well a few months in my financing ran out they hadnt finished the house and turned out all houses in their community were foreclosed. i have been trying with both the builder and broker for 6 months to get my earnest money back to no avail. the broker says to talk to the builder i try to talk to builder he does not answer for months then finally answered yesterday with he is about to loose his house and all cars have been repod and he cant give the money back. What can i do to get the money back if anything??? please help state of ga

The real estate broker should have put the deposit in a his/her separate escrow or trust account. I'm guessing "Martin Communities" is the builder, so you will have to sue the builder for your deposit. Depending on your state licensing laws your Realtor could also be negligent, and could be reported to them.

Does it come as any surprise that I would know most of these answers? Very few cajuns actually French. They speak...cajun creole which is a very countrified version of French And I very seriously doubt if they can effectively communicate with any French speakers. (I am of cajun blood). Now some of the city slickers may speak French, though (I do.). But the city slickers ain't cajuns...they are just Louisianians.
