Answer: Well, the logic behind Keynesian economics has to do with the multiplier effect. The thinking is that in order to boost the economy someone's gotta spend. The people aren't spending, so government has to force the money away from them and spend it themselves. And it does have some positive results. Historically, for every dollar government spends, GDP raises 1.4 dollar. For every dollar it does not usurp, however, GDP has risen 3 dollars historically. Kind of makes you realize what this stimulus was really all about: gov't growth. To tax is to slow down or destroy. For every dollar that government takes in, it must usurp from someone else. Every figure on that list will, at some point, mean someone gets laid off. It means someone buys less bread from the baker who buys less flour. The grain mill then pays their employees less. For every bridge that government builds in the name of economic stimulus, countless jobs are destroyed. The idea that government stimulus is necessary is equal to the idea that government better knows how to spend your money than you do. Judging by your list and the list on recover.gov, I'd say that such an idea is quite false. |

What do you have to say about the stimulus? Question: I would like to start off with the fact that only 90% of this bill could even be called a stimulus. Most of it is a bunch of money for special interest groups; the last 10% is for construction and infrastructure jobs… I personally don’t think construction and infrastructure jobs alone will stimulate the economy. I thought that would cross the minds of our so-called caring liberals in the White House and in Congress… Another funny thing about this stimulus is that our President and his administration once said “If we pass this bill, unemployment will never reach above 8%.” Well that’s an outright lie! It’s now 9.5% and climbing! And do our politicians ever look at the people from whom the money will be taken from? The people who will be “dissimulated”? What about them? There are not enough rich people to pay for this bill, so guess what!? The middle class IS going to be taxed… If the middle class, upper middle class, and upper class are taxed, the very classes which ARE the business class will be the ones that get hurt—especially small business, which employs 70% of the work force… Will Obama take the money from the workers and producers or aka the business class? Well the unemployed don’t make any money, so taking money from them is not really the idea! Who gets taxed? The workers and producers… So he either will tax us to death or barrow from China—which again is a terrible idea, China basically owns us now! Question about speeding ticket in School zone? Question: I just got ticket at 8AM in albany georgia which is dougherty county I was going 48 on gillionvile road which has speed limit of 45. Road was 6 lanes I thought it is not school zone so I was going 48 even though I saw police car He suddenly pulled me over and told me that I was in school zone Speed limit for school zone was 25. I explained him that I did not know it is school zone and that is the reason I was going 48 miles/hour. Anyway, He gave me a ticket and I have to go to counrt in january I am twenty years old which means I am under 21 What should I do? Call attroney? or just go to counrt and pay for it and how much it is gonna be? Is there any way that I can pay ticket month by month? Answer: Ignorance of the law is not an excuse. If I didn't know murder was illegal, should I be able to get away with doing it? We cannot tell you how much a ticket will be (obviously) as it varies from place to place. But I would suggest you take responsibility for your actions like an adult and pay the fine. The courts will generally work with you on a payment plan. |

DID YOU SEE Police Officer To Be Charged After Killing Motorist While Racing To Safe Driving Campaign ? Question: STATESBORO, GEORGIA - A father was seriously injured and his son was killed Tuesday when a rental trailer they were towing was rear-ended on Interstate 16 by a police officer who specializes in nabbing aggressive drivers and who was en route to Chatham County to take part in a safe-driving campaign, officials said. Cpl. Robert Balkcom, an assistant commander of the Georgia State Patrol post in Statesboro, said no charges have been filed yet, but they are likely, against Dougherty County Police Officer Jeremiah Fenn, 25, of Albany. Officer Fenn was headed to Chatham County to take part in Operation Rolling Thunder, a 90-day effort to curb Savannah’s rising traffic fatality rate with the help of scores of officers from around the state. Officer Fenn was driving eastbound near Metter when he took his eyes off the road for a second to look at the computer mounted in his car and struck a trailer being towed by an SUV traveling in the same direction and in the same lane, Cpl. Balkcom said. The video camera in Officer Fenn’s car, which could have recorded the accident, was turned off, Cpl. Balkcom said. The SUV overturned several times, ejecting Milton Wilcox, 33, of Savannah, a passenger who was not wearing a seat belt, police said. Mr. Wilcox was pronounced dead at the scene. His father, William Wilcox, 57, of Savannah, the driver, was airlifted to Savannah’s Memorial Health University Medical Center with serious injuries, Cpl. Balkcom said. A two-mile eastbound stretch of the interstate was closed for about six hours while members of the Georgia State Patrol’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team investigated the accident, Cpl. Balkcom said. Witnesses told authorities that Officer Fenn’s police car was “traveling at a high rate of speed,” an issue that will be addressed by the investigation, Cpl. Balkcom said. “There will more than likely be charges,” he said. Officer Fenn is a participant in a statewide program known as Highway Enforcement of Aggressive Traffic (H.E.A.T.), a collaborative effort of the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety and eight local law enforcement agencies to nab aggressive drivers. You always seem to be able to hunt out the negative but NEVER the good that they do day in and day out just to keep the streets as safe as they can, you also seem to fail to recognise that in EVERY profession there is good and bad.
