Questions Related to winter, park cars

Do you envy those who have garages to park their cars in the winter?

Answer:
I envy the people that have cars

Where can i park a car in winter when driveway if full?
Question:
well im 15 about to be 16 and the only reason i cant get a car is because we have a full driveway in the winter because of the snow parking regulations you cannot park in the street. we already have 4 in a small driveway. Where could i park a car that isn't going to be stored, and will be used often. also give different ideas, ive already taken asking neighbors into consideration, brain storm please! haha i really want a car for a job, snowboarding, etc

Answer:
Not that I would recommend it but my drunk uncle had the bright idea one night to park his pickup in the living room next to his Harley. That worked till his wife came home. Then she made him back it out and park it on the front lawn next to the couch. Oh I forgot to mention that they are from Alabama and live down by the swap. <<----------- ALTERNATIVE IDEA ------- KEEP READING ----------->> Forget the neighbors. Go further down the street and find some nice old lady who does not drive anymore. Tell her that you will clear her driveway / walkway this Winter if she will let you park in her driveway. Also offer to drive her to the store once a week if she needs to get groceries or anything. Two things will happen. Your parents will think that you are really a responsible kid and will probably offer to pay for your insurance and the nice old lady will probably offer to buy you gas for your car. If you are smart you will offer to take her for groceries when your gas gage is almost on empty, Just before you pull up the the gas station mention to her real low key that you have been doing some volunteer work down at the Community Center or working with the Homeless kitchen with your car on the weekends and the gas is just a bit more than your allowance can cover but you really love helping people out. Play it right and she will probably buy you a an I-Pad to plug into your new rocking stereo that your parents will get you for being such a great kid. This car thing can really pay out fat for you if you work it right. Get the pictures?? Sometimes you gotta think outside the box my friend or you will always be stuck inside with all the other dummies.

Winter in Yellowstone Park... cars & NYE!?
Question:
I have 2 questions regarding a holiday I'm planning - 1/ We will be in Montana and Yellowstone late December and will need to hire a car to get around. It's obviously going to be very cold/snowing. What sort of car will be okay to hire? Will a regular family size sedan be okay/safe enough if that is all we can afford, or do we need an SUV? 2/ What is there to do on New Years Eve in the Yellowstone area? Has anyone experienced NYE at Mammoth Hot Springs hotel?

Answer:
1) you would be better off with a SUV snow will be pretty heavy and allot more safe 2) not sure but there is a couple towns around the the North and west entrance to Yellowstone i am sure a couple will have a party or 2

What are some good makeout spots in Orlando/Winter Park?
Question:
I'm looking for somewhere fairly private, somewhere that is preferably in Winter Park or north Orlando. It can be either somewhere to park a car, or somewhere that can accommodate getting out of the car. Thank you!

Answer:
ok listen carefully. theres this super secret spot my gf and i go. go to the mcds and go into the bathroom. look under the toilet seat and ther will be a number. before calling him scavenger up 2 k in cash and put it in a baby blue suitcase. place the suitcase under the bench in city park. sit atop the hill and wait. wait more. at precisely 10:46 o'clock est a man in a corvette will drive by. dodge his bullets and get out of there. next take ur gf to the mcds(not the same one). order a mcchicken and sit it under the pine tree. leave. go home. with her. make out. repeat if necessary

I have to park my car outside in winter, any tips?
Question:
In winter I have to drive at 7 in the morning, and my car is freezing when I get in. Do you have any tips for keeping it warmer? For example, could I put a steering wheel cover on so my hands don't freeze? Parking in a garage is not an option for me.

Answer:
1) Frost cover for the windshield so you can just whip it off and have a clear view. This also helps keep some heat inside the car. 2) I don't know where you are, but an engine block heater installed can help your engine warm up faster and save some wear 'n' tear on startup by keeping the oil warmer. You need to be able to plug it into an outlet though. 3) What we did: Start the coffee. Go outside & start the car. After it's running set the defroster on full. Go inside, drink the coffee. When you're done the car should be toasty. If it's not too cold I could take my coffee to the car and it would be defrosted already. 4) Leather seats are so bogus! They have all the disadvantages of vinyl at 100 times the cost. Butt burners in the summer, 'nad freezers in the winter, and if someone sits down with a pen in his back pocket, it's adios dinero! If you have leather, get a woolly seat cover. 5) Your state's Department of Transpo issues windshield ice scrapers. They also double as your drivers' license. 6) A steering wheel cover is easy to put on and definitely helps. You can also keep a pair of gloves in the car.

Is it necessary to park your car inside a garage during winter in Ohio?
Question:
I am moving to a cold climate for the first time and my California parents are freaking out because my house won't have a garage. I am going to the Dayton, OH area. Is having a garage a necessity? If yes, why?

Answer:
I lived in Central Pa, where it has pretty similar weather. I did not have a garage and it was alright. the only things that suck are the fact that your car gets covered in snow and your doors may freeze shut. Just get up a little earlier when it snows so you have time to clean your car off. They sell brushed for this. Turn your car on to let the windows deice. Also, keep a bottle of windshield washer fluid in your house, the type that has a deicer in it. If your doors are frozen shut, or your locks are iced over, just pour a little of that on and it will unfreeze them. Also invest in a snow shovel to dig a path out for your car if necessary.

Where can i find a tattoo shop that will tattoo a thirteen year old in orlando flordia around winter park?
Question:
well i got Piercings done at Axiom but i cant get a Tattoo and im Thirteen and i want a Tattoo i already know what i want so dont judge me bout that.anyways i need to find a Tattoo Shop that will tattoo me and i need it to be around Winter park flordia or at least somewhere close cause i dont have a car.

Answer:
There is no good place in Orlando Florida to get tattooed. There is no good place to get tattooed anywhere. All tattoo parlors everywhere are evil places, filled with regret and abuse. There is no such thing as a good tattoo artist. Your holy body is not a canvas and the abusers who ink graffiti onto living bodies are not artists. Do not get tattooed. Tattoos are permanent. You can not take them back. If you are fooled into getting a tattoo, never tip a tattoo predator . Do not pay money for people to abuse and deface your body. Learn about Stockholm Syndrome (a paradoxical psychological phenomenon wherein victims have positive feelings towards their abusers), which can help explain why victims of tattoo predators can have “admiration” for their oppressors. Tattoo predators are similar to drug dealers in that they receive money and make their living by hurting others, (although the people they hurt think they are being helped by their abuser, and so the parallel to Stockholm Syndrome.) Open your eyes and don’t be a willing victim! The tattoo industry is full of abuse and negligence. Tattoo removal is at an all time high. Tattoo lawsuits are soaring due to the nature of this demeaning industry and the harm caused by these abusers to young people who mistakenly trust them, If you were tattooed as a minor or while intoxicated, you can take the tattoo parlor and the predator who abused you to court and use your settlement money to remove those tattoos you no longer want. You can sue these tattoo predators in court, and make them pay for defacing your body. Stand up for your rights. I strongly suggest that you do not get a tattoo. There is a big cost to getting a tattoo, and it is far more than wasted money. The true cost of a tattoo is a lifetime of regret. Most regret it within 5 years. There is an 80% chance you will regret it in your lifetime. The regret starts after you start to notice how people react to you. Many people will look at you with disgust, for tattoos are offensive to many, many people. I suggest you do not get a tattoo. A tattoo is little better than a cartoon—you can’t get a good quality drawing on the human skin. It will deface your body like ugly graffiti defaces a public building. There are serious practical reasons not to get tattooed. Your chances of getting a good job will be greatly diminished—most companies will not hire you since your tattoo will be seen as offensive to other workers. The majority of western people get tattooed when young and their decision making process is not yet matured. Youth tends to be impulsive. Young people are still developing and they need to be very careful in making important, permanent decisions. The reasons young people get tattooed are not mature (i.e. they want people to notice them, they want to pretentiously “honor” someone in a way that will attract notice, they want to pretentiously present some “deep” quotation on their skin in the hope that people will think they too are “deep”, they are rebelling against their parents or society, they are conforming to what they think are social norms, they are unable to see ahead and view the negative results of their actions, etc.) If you want to see the true level of cultural development for tattoos and other body modifications, look at this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwOXCmjTsvs In a large sense, nothing illustrates the degeneration of western culture more than the entertainment industry encouraging impulsive youth to permanently disfigure themselves in order to “express themselves”. But such is the power of suggestion that more and more young people are buying into this Hollywood lie that tattoos are a cutting edge way to “express” yourself. But that is so not true. You should express yourself with your words and actions, not by inking graffiti onto your living flesh, in a manner offensive to both man and God, who instructed us through His prophet Moses: "Do not cut your bodies… or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD” Leviticus 19:28. The message you will actually convey with a tattoo is one or more of the following: "I am immature", "I am needy", “I am foolish”, “I make bad decisions”, “I have no sense of right and wrong,” “I follow fads”, “I am unemployable”, "I have been to prison", "I belong to a criminal gang", "I am promiscuous", "I work in the sex-services industry", "I can not sustain a long term relationship". I am telling you this because I care about you and I want to help you avoid a bad mistake. Good luck to you in your life. But do not get tattooed. Tattoos are permanent. You can not take them back. You are 13 years old and your body is clean--keep it that way. Stay in school, do your best there, avoid drinking, drugs, tattoos and piercings, and avoid those who have them. Go to college, study science, mathematics, or business, and avoid liberal arts. God bless you.

Does the town of Winter Park, Colorado have a library and bus system.?
Question:
I am thinking of moving there for the winter and don't have a car. Is it hard to get around without one? I need it to go to work at the ski resort, the gym and the library and the grocery store. By the way is there a gym in that town and what town is close to it so I can find a place? I know I have alot of questions but any input you have will be appreciated.

Yes there is a bus system. Also, Winter Park has a gym. Most ski resorts allow for employees to use them. I believe there is a library 3 mile from Winter Park in Fraser, CO. Good Luck

Which is more fun, Winter Park, CO or Breckenridge, CO?
Question:
My g/f booked a trip to Denver this coming February and we're looking at going on a snowmobile tour and maybe some skiing. We were looking at Breckenridge or Winter Park and can't decide. Which offers more fun things for a young couple? Also, are both accessible by car, or would we be better off taking an Amtrak train ride?

Answer:
They both offer similar activities, but Breck is probably more popular and may be the better option. And the only way to get there would be car. There are some mountain express shuttles, but they don't run too often and you would be stuck to their schedules.
