Questions Related to tamarac, florida cars

Provided By Y! Answers

I'm driving to florida{tamarac}my car gets 25 miles per gallon the trip is 1400 miles gas cost about 3.10 per
Question:
what will the cost be for this trip

Answer:
Hi neighbor...I'm in Pembroke Pines. Your cost will be approximately $175. 1400 miles divided by 25 miles to the gallon is 56 gallons for the trip. 56 gallons times your avergae price of $3.10 would be $173.60. Remember that as you travel into other cities on your trip gas prices will be vary. $175 is a good estimate to start with but keep in mind this may fluctuate. Happy travel!

How do you solve this math question?

Florida License Plate Decal Required?
Question:
Hi, I Live in an apartment complex in Tamarac Florida, and had recently discovered a notice on the window of my car that my car was in violation of not having a current vehicle registration, and is not allowed to be parked in the complex's parking lots. This is my second notice, and each states that my car would be towed within in 3 days, if i had not renewed my vehicle by then. For starters, my vehicle is in fact currently registered, but my old plate decal is fixed on the plate (it reads 12/06). I've done similarly with all the vehicles I've ever owned, where I simply don't put the new sticker on my plate for years at a time (no particular reason. just didnt see the big deal). During any accidents or traffic pull overs during these years, I've never once had an officer tell me I needed to put the sticker on..... (also note that I always have the decal in the vehicle for proof of registration, just not physically fixed on the license plate). My question is 2 part: 1) Is it required by florida law to have the decal displayed on the license plate if the vehicle's registration is up-to-date? and why? I've researched this for a a few hours, and have not yet seen a definitive answer. and 2) Does the people who run my Apartment complex have the authority to have my vehicle towed if they do not have the ability to realize that my vehicle's registration is valid? and why/ why not? Any help is appreciated! Thanks! Nice answer, Thanks. Though I absolutely believe you to be right (and I will most certainly put the sticker on) I would like to see where these laws are writen. And especially WHY the people who own my apartments have rights to tow my vehicle because they "think" my car is not registered. It does not make sense to me that "the law" would grant someone the right to have a vehicle towed for suspision alone. There must be rights that someone has as a vehicle owner as well. In any event, I will be puting in notice of cancelation of my lease because they choose to be prics over the matter. Poor management on their part. Pissing customers off is not the smartest way to make money. A note, or knock on the door would have sufficed, but threats and demands do not work with me. I have suspicion the owners are theiving illegal immigrants. They've walked into my apartment randomly, and none of them speak a word of english. Does this mean they are? No. Do i have the right to deport their asses?
