Alright, both guys above have no idea what they are talking about, especially Georgie Porgie. An engine from a 99-00 Si (B16A2) will fit and work properly in your car. When you go to buy the new engine it will come with the proper ECU and wiring harness, so the wiring is not a big deal and as long as you keep the stock catalytic converter you might have a chance at passing an emissions test. What you will need are different motor mounts so it will fit correctly. Hasport makes the mounts you will need. Also the Si valve cover is not red...its black..the difference is that VTEC is in big letters and dohc is in smaller letters under it. I would know...I own a 2000 Civic Si Coupe. Basically, you can easily put a B16 in your HX quite easily and everything will function just fine. Just make sure your getting all the parts you need when you purchase the engine...Transmission ,Engine Wiring Harness, Required Cables, ECU, Distributor, Intake Manifold, Exhaust Manifold, Injectors and Fuel Rail, Alternator, A/C, Power Steering Pump, Brackets and Sensors. Ther might be a few things you will need to purchase afterwards but they will be minimal.

Wow your ideas are really good =) Seems like you've got it all sorted. Im sure you can start this list right away, for example going to the circus or the zoo - there'll be places open now for the easter holidays and running a marathon, you can start training this year and run in the London Marathon 2012 =) that would be so memorable for all kinds of reasons. I really like your list, wish I could do the same. I think it says that you are positive, optimistic, you set realistic goals and your goals are very diverse showing that you have an interest in various things, you sound like an interesting person with lots of energy. But see I got confused and thought that I mgiht need a girlfriend to share these experiences with but got told that maybe I should just focus on the list and not concern myself with the girlfriend thing too much, and see I'm a film buff and have stopped buying Film dvds and going to the cinemas on my own to focus and concentrate on the list!!! Is it a good idea for me to stop looking at women on magazine covers to focus on the list or do I continue as before and try to get a girlfriend as well? You have an appreciation for Mother Nature's majesty and wish you could spend more time with her. You probably live on the west coast and are still single by both choice and circumstances. You enjoy the arts and humanities but you don't know why. Probably you have little or no college background and a less than median income job, although you are a hard worker. Nothing wrong with that, you're a good person. No, you don't need a girlfriend to do this with. That will happen when it happens. Do what you like to do and at one of the stops along the way she will show up, just don't F*** up and not recognize her.
