would anyone know the rules regarding children in cars in orlando florida?
Question:
we will be travelling to the US (specifically orlando) this May2007 and will be renting a car. I would thus like to get information on kids and car seats. I have a 4yr old and a 1yr old. FYI. we are from the Philippines where there are no rules regarding car seats. i use a convertible car seat for my 1yr old and a booster seat for my 4 year old. its easy to transport the booster seat all the way from the other side of the world but itll be a big hassle to bring the convertible car seat. im open to suggestions.

Answer:
you can rent the car seats for children! click on options when you reserve your rental car online!!

How come the prices of rental cars in Orlando Florida have gone up so much? The prices are almost double what?
Question:
we paid 2 years ago it is rediculous?

Answer:
The pricing analysts at the big rental car companies are some of the best revenue maximizers anywhere - for Orlando, that means as supply gets low, the prices go WAY up. High demand times, like holidays, spring break, etc. drive prices up sometimes 100-400%.

What are some places in Orlando, Florida, where I might rent exotic cars?
Question:
I've heard of 407 Exotic Toys, but are there others? I'm looking to rent a Lamborghini or Ferrari or something similar for my wedding in Februrary. It would be even cooler, in my opinion, if could rent something fairly rare that only car buffs know about but isn't necessarily high-priced, like an MG or a Triumph or something, but I would certainly not mind driving a Murcielago or an F430 or something either.

Answer:
Try a private owner. I was looking for a Ferrari last summer and that's what I had to do.

Anybody selling cars in orlando florida for $200?

How much gas will I need to get from Detroit (Michigan) to Orlando (Florida) driving this car?
Question:
I will be driving a brand new Ford Fusion. How much gas money should I bring to get from Detroit (Michigan) to Orlando (Florida)? Thanks for the help.

Answer:
OK, the Ford Fusion gets 34 mpg. It is 1,161 miles from Detroit to Orlando (per Google Maps). So you're looking 34.2 gallons of gas. According to AAA, the national average for gas today was $2.856. So that should be $97.67. I always put a 10% cushion in just in case, so you're looking $107.45. Now some tips from someone who's driven to Florida (although from PA). Stop for gas at exits in rural areas with a big name truck stop (Flying J, Pilot, TA, etc) or a lot of gas options. Those exits tend to have the lowest prices. And fuel up in GA, before you cross into FL whether you need to or not. Gas in Georgia is ridiculously cheap, while gas in Florida is ridiculosly expensive.

Laws for towing cars in Orlando, Florida?
Question:
My mom lives at an apartment complex. I am not a resident here. The complex does NOT have any kind of parking permit or designated parking spots. Its a free for all here. I come to visit and I sometimes take my mom to work early mornings so I'll stay over here and hang out during the day. My car was tagged to be towed because of my tag being expired. The car is driven daily. I went to the front office and they said that since I didn't live here they were call the tow company and remove my car from the list. Months later, today, I went outside and my car was towed. If I'm not a resident, do they have any rights to tow my car because its simply parked here with an expired tag?

Answer:
In most cases relating to private property trespass towing, yes, if a visiting vehicle is unregistered, it can be towed without the owner's consent. In that this involves private property, this is basically a civil matter between you and the property management company. However, if you still feel wronged, you can approach the local police authority seeking information on local towing regualtions.

How easy is it to get to the Cirque de Soleil Show in Orlando, Florida without a car?
Question:
We are staying on International Drive but not driving (due to Mum's fear after previous holiday car crash over there.) I want to treat her to this show but need to know how easy it is to get to using public transport. Also is it a safe area to be in when leaving the show? Thanks.

Answer:
The area is very safe and you should have no problems. It is located in Downtown Disney which has several places to shop, dine, Pleasure Island as well as DisneyQuest, so there are a lot of people around and it is a place for families and stuff to go. Really no need to worry about leaving at night. Check with your hotel to see if they offer a shuttle to either Disney or Downtown Disney. If they can take you to one of the parks, you can get on a bus there and take it to Downtown Disney (at this point anyway, I have been hearing they are going to enforce the onsite guests only policy, but I don't know if or when that may happen) If you plan to use your hotel shuttle, be sure to ask what time they stop running because if you go to the later show and/or get dinner after the show, they may not be running the shuttle anymore. It is also important to check when they run. Some hotels offer shuttles that run all day (not too many offer this) but others only offer a few in the morning and a few at night, so you may have a hard time getting to or from. Taxi is another option, but you may want to call the taxi companies to see if they can give you an estimate for the cost of the trip. Taxis can get really expensive pretty quick. Even though the trip is somewhat short, it is still a good distance and might be really high for a taxi. If the taxi is really high you may want to check what the cost for a private transfer would be. For a lot of situations the private transfer will cost less than taxi, it just kind of depends. Public transportation is another option, but having never used it I don't know cost (though it would be less) and where they run, where they would drop you off, how hard it is to get where you are going, etc. From what I have heard, a lot of times it can be kind of hard to get around. Have a great time!
