How do I get from Amtrak Station in Forth Worth to Lake Dallas to pick up my Car? Question: I am in the military and just transferred back stateside. My car is being delivered to Lake Dallas. Is there any type of public transportation that goes from the Amtrak station in Fort Worth to the Vehicle Processing Center in Lake Dallas. Answer: You can save money, if not time, by taking the TRE (Trinity Railway Express) from the AMTRAK station in downtown Ft. Is anyone selling a car in the area of Azle, Springtown or Lake Worth, TX? Question: Itll be my first car so it needs to hold up. it cant really have too many miles on it, it has to have good mileage to the gallon, needs to be an automatic and id prefer it to be black with 4 doors and a clean, comfortable interior and it has to be a pretty fair price because i will be paying for the majority of it. and if there are any problems with the car, i hope anyone would have enough integrity to take care of it before selling it to me. From the middle of NJ to Thunder Bay, ON will take somewhere between 24 and 36 hours if you enter Canada at Fort Erie, possibly less if you go via Duluth MN. A plane out of Newark or Atlantic City through Toronto would be about 3 to 4 hours plus layover time for the change of aircraft. I doubt there is a direct flight. If there is more than 1 person, a car will definitely be cheaper. A train might make it in 36 hours but that excludes the connection time to make a transfer at Toronto. |

Have you ever sighted or heard of a sighting of anything unusual? Question: Im into cryptozoology and i want to see what people have encountered in different places of the world. Like in North Texas there's a thing call the Lake Worth Monster. One person said it jumped on their car and run off into the woods. I've always wanted to see it, living in north texas but no one has sighted it for a long time. Answer: In Michigan we have the Dog man. I've never seen him and I don't really want to either lol. Some say he's fake others say he's real there's a website on him, I'm pretty sure if you Google it you could find it. |

Which cities worth visiting in Lago Di Garda? Question: I and my wife are going on a trip, starting at Milan, and ending at Venice, and passing (slowly) by car to Lago Di Garda lake. We like nature, bit of history, but not overwhelmed by historical places. We like citylights too, streets with cafes and shops. We will be renting car with GPS. What do you recommend regarding Garda? - Staying at one city? (sirmione) and take everything as one day trip. Is this city nice or it is over-quiet? - Do you recommend staying at few cities? Like what? Answer: I live about an hour south of the lake. Most of the towns around Lake Garda are interesting. My favorites are Sirmione, Malcesine, and Limone. There's an interesting small museum at the castle in Malcesine with animals and fish from area around the lake. You can also take the funvia up the mountain from there. The Roman ruins at Sirmione are interesting. There is also the remains of a Roman villa in Desenzano. Not much of it is left, but there are a couple of partial mosaic tile floors. The old town in Peschiera del Garda is nice too. How quiet Sirmione is depends on exactly when you'll be there. Right now, it's not too crowded, but it is a very popular destination in the tourist season and can be pretty crowded. The amount of time to spend really depends on your interests. The lake is very scenic and easily worth a weekend. There are a lot of other possibilities for sightseeing along your route to Venice also. |

How much is my fish worth? Question: My fish is a Zebra Cichlid (rainbow color) from Lake Victoria. It has very unusual natural markings. One side has the M logo just like the fast food giant. The other side has an 01. It should be called the race car fish. This is all natural hence my question. Answer: Call McDonald's headquarters in Oak Brook, Illinois. They think McDonald's is #1 and might pay you something for it. I love my Lake Victorian Zebras though they're not worth much because they breed so easy. I give the offspring of my fish away to kids in the area for free to get them interested in the hobby though you could get a few dollars for this interesting fish. I would think $20 at the max unless McDonalds is interested. There are some McDonald's with fish tanks in them. Call around because they'll pay you some real money for the novelty. |

Best economic way to get from San Francisco airport to Lake Tahoe.? Question: Is it worth to rent a car for a day and drop it off at Reno? Answer: Taking Amtrak from SF to Truckee would probably be the cheapest and easiest. You could also fly, as someone suggested, but SF to Reno isn't as traveled as, say, SF to LA or Las Vegas, so it's actually not that cheap (the cheapest fare, if you book far in advance, is just under $100. If you don't book far in advance, you'll be paying over $200). It would be a lot quicker though... if that's an issue. I wouldn't rent a car as they tend to charge a lot to drop it off somewhere other than where you picked it up. But if you're just going for the most economical option... Amtrak. $42. |
