Questions Related to jupiter, florida cars

Going on a seven or eight hour trip to Savannah Georgia from jupiter. Any ideas on how to pass the time?
Question:
We're travelling by car, and I'm with my Girl scout troop. I'm not exactly positive on travelling time, so could anyone tell me the time from Jupiter, FLorida to Savannah? I think we're leaving at six or seven in the morning. I have a nintendo DS with Brain AGe2 on it, so maybe you could suggest some time consuming games.

Answer:
well its going to take about 6.5 hours so maybe stay up really late the night before so that you could sleep in the car and pass the time away...bring a really good book...also think of some fun things you could do with your fellow scouts like I spy stuff and games like that...Or you could talk about Jamie Lynn Spears pregnant. IDK. Hope that helped! =)

Florida car insurance question?!?
Question:
I'm 16 and have my driving permit, I want to get my license but since the insurance here is SO EXPENSIVE I'm looking for ways to reduce it. I would be put under both divorced parents insurance plans as soo as I got my license. My questions are: 1. If I get my own car, will I still have to go on both parents insurance? 2. What kind of driving school will aid in discounting the insurance, and do you know of any in Jupiter, FL or online? Thanks!

Answer:
You could get your own insurance but however you do it, it isn't going to be cheap. You want to find a car with every possible safety feature - air bags, daytime running lights, ABS brakes etc, pass all of Florida's defensive driving courses etc. If you can garage the car at night and it has an alarm that will bring down the costs. If you are confident you are a good driver, opt for a larger deductible, say $1000 rather than $250. If you maintained a B average in high school that will also get you a discount. If you live with one of your parents, stay on his/her policy and get a multi-car discount. BTW Florida is not the most expensive place in the US for car insurance, FL places around 23 or 27 depending on which report you trust. Louisiana is at the most expensive slot, thanks to Katrina and other factors.

Should I move to florida? Florida residents please.?
Question:
I have one year until I graduate college. Then I have plans to get a masters and or get a job. Ever since I started college I randomly said I am going to move to florida. Last winter I took a cheap vacation there and went to Tampa, Miami, Keys, Jupiter, Orlando all over in my car. I live in Illinois now and hate the state and the politics if you know what I mean. Anyways I want to move and florida seems to be a nice state. Cheap homes to and I know the pay in my field is less down there but I'm young and don't care about that right now. Why florida, I love off roading, beach's, windsurfing, biking and hiking. Yes I have been there during the summer so I know how hot it gets and how buggy it gets. A lot of people say that there is to many old people down there but when I was down there that didn't seem to be a problem. I went to all the big city's and seem to love them all but wouldn't want to live in south florida because I felt cramped there but Tampa was my fave and Jupiter or all along the east seemed ok but really didn't get into the country which is what I'm use too. So what do you guys think? am I Florida approved or not?

Answer:
Hello dear, I am a Florida native. I live in South FL, and the people down here can be very shady and unfriendly =/. It can be hard to find nice people but there are some here. Most people who live middle class still have to deal with the influx of crime and mentality from the youth who do not care about anything but pulling their pants down and acting "tough." Florida schooling ranks among the worst in the nation, you should consider this for your future children. * Our schools need so much help compared to the West Coast and New England area, which has more money put to educating the children well. Hurricane season is not hard to adjust, alot of the kids find it fun. Atleast it's not like Cali where you get random earthquakes. You have enough time to prepare. Because Florida is a multicultural state you find people from all over. I met my friends originally from England, Jamaica, Paraguay,Germany, and France because of living in Florida. However, I don't plan to live anywhere in FL after long due to the failing schools, increase in crime, annoying middle class youth acting "ghetto" and the rude people , which is odd because it is sunny most of the time, why they aren't warm hearted I have no idea. Best areas would be West Palm, FL---> the village of royal palm beach is lovely. My cousin lives there. Palm beach, FL is gorgeous but very expensive. Wellington, Fl is nice. Jupiter, Fl is beautiful but not diverse, if you are looking for that. Tampa, Fl is okay, it's big, and some of the people are extremely ghetto. I would pick a nice suburb there. Orlando, Fl has gone down, loads of crime mate, the only thing fun is Walt Disney. Suburb===> Winter Park, FL is nice. Sarasota, Fl is known to be the "Little Gem city" but it's not for young people, more like retirees. Port St. Lucie, Fl has low crime, friendly people but old people usually move in this place, it's diverse, my grandma lives there. Best of luck xx

Comments on a movie Im working on!?
Question:
Hey so I write movie stories, Make them into scripts, and then film them with my friends and family. So yeah I have like 3 scripts written and so yeah I kind of wanna tell you one of my ideas. Please don’t steal them. I worked hard on them! So yeah I’m only going to share one of my ideas. Kinda long sorry! So it starts out in a 2nd grade classroom, in a big tall building. There is a new kid called Sam. He's from Jupiter, Florida. He is really quiet and the kids in his class think he is weird, especially Timmy and Ralph, the 2 kids at his table. Sam is sitting, watching Timmy crash his toy cars together, when all of a sudden he starts freaking out!!! He has a flash back of his dead father and the last time he saw him before he gets into a fatal crash. The teacher runs to Sam asking if he was ok, and Sam just nods, but gives Timmy a blank but creepy stare. When its time for recesses, Sam doesn’t want to go out. The teacher allows him to stay inside till its time to come back. Everyone exits the room except Timmy. Timmy thinks it would be funny to scare Sam. He waits till Sam is by the window and he pretends he is a ghost. He pops out and scares Sam right through the window and Sam falls to his death. When everyone sees what happened, Timmy says that Sam tried to hurt him, so he had to defend himself by pushing him away.(people believed him due to the way he was acting in the morning) Fast-forward 23 years. Timmy is 30. He begins to see Sam’s ghost and it isn’t happy. I WONT TELL YOU MORE! sooooooooo how is it? Thanks, oh and try not to be too harsh! Lol Thanks! I’m only 15 btw, and wanna be a producer/director for movies when I grow up.

Answer:
It's okay. But it sounds king of comical. It is weird how it takes 23 years for the ghost of Sam to haunt this Timmy character. And also, Sam was only what, 7? I couldn't picture a seven year old haunting a 30 year old...? It just doesn't really make seance. I mean, it could be something, you never know. I'm 15 as well and am a aspiring actor but I also write movie scripts for fun sometimes. I also like the horror genre, and my ideas seem very good. I don't know, maybe it's just because you have a different style then me, I really do not know. Well good luck and all and just try to switch it up a bit and maybe it will turn out better. But that's really cool how in the end your friends and family act it out. Sweet.... Good luck =]

Where should I stay in Florida?
Question:
My wife and I decided to travel to Florida at the end of April, mainly to watch the Space Shuttle launch. (STS 134). We have been to Floridad plenty of times before, but we usually take more time to prepare, and bring along our travel trailer and camp. Since this trip is more on a whim, we decided to either drive down in the car (easier on gas) or fly down. Either way we will be staying in a motel. A few years ago we stayed in a nice efficiency unit in an old style motel in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. It was lovely, but I want to try to stay closer to where the launch will take place. Maybe somehwere around Daytona beach, or as far south as Jupiter. But I am having trouble finding sites that show accomodations with kitchenettes. Plus a lot of the hotels are booked up in that area, especially on the weekends. The launch is on a Friday. We can travel down during the week, but we don't want to have to fly back home that night if we can help it. Anyone have any suggestions?

Answer:
I did a quick search (I used Yahoo) I put in Daytona motel kitchenette. A great number showed up.. You may also try, Titusville, Volusia, Ormond Beach or New Smyrna. Tourist business has been really slow. You will find something.

my friend is writing a book, what do you think about her 2 main female characters?
Question:
Since i have a yahoo account and my friend doesn't I decided to post this for her. It's for a book she's writing, title undecided, but the two main FEMALE characters are figured out. What do you think? Too perfect? Or does my friend have well-rounded characters for this book she's planning on writing? Note: The year this book is set in is 2009. Character 1 Eternity Jewel Peace Personality traits: Snobbish and mean-spirited. Selfish, self-centered, and promotes prostitution, drug-dealing, and drunk-driving. Is promiscuous herself and breaks guys hearts all the time. Never apologizes, and never holds herself responsible for her behavior. Genetics: Long curly blond hair that cascades down to her lower back, light gray eyes, and dark brown skin. 5"8. Extremely skinny. Eternity is a 16-year-old African-American with one brother and two sisters. Birth/Place: April 31, 1993 in Egypt, Africa Eternity's background info: Her parents died when she and her siblings were four years old. They grew up in foster care, raised by parents who treated them horribly and set bad examples. Might be the cause of Eternity's own rotten behavior. Eternity grew to be irresponsible, immature, and selfish because of the way the foster parents behaved. Eternity's siblings however are her exact opposite. Siblings: Samantha, Aaliyah, and Abasi Deceased parents: Caro and Amina Peace Ever since being released from foster care, Eternity and her siblings have resided to a house in Deerfield Beach, South Florida, USA, where Eternity's bad behavior skyrocketed. Character 2 Generous Loving Burke Personality traits: Thoughtful. Gives to the poor and needy, and shuns bad government. Worries about her next-door neighbor's future, which is Eternity. Generous is a lady who cares about all human beings and adores all children. She has a big scar that runs down her back, and she is very clumsy. Genetics: Brownish-grayish frizzy hair, light green eyes, and extremely pale skin. 5"3 tall and weighs averagely. Generous is a 31-year-old English woman. Birth/Place: May 6, 1978 in London, England Her background info: Generous' parents also died when she was very young but due to a horrific car crash. She grew up with foster parents that raised their foster children to be respectful, helpful, and pray to God everyday. Generous is a extreme Christian who offers food, drinks, and presents to her Lord everyday. She is a worrisome woman who is concerned about Eternity. Generous resides in Deerfield Beach, South Florida with her husband and two daughters. She communes between Jupiter, where she works, and her home. Siblings: Michelle and Martyn Daughters: Skylar and Jaia Husband: Richard Burke Deceased parents: Randolph and Neilia Burke So, what do you think? Are her characters interesting? I think they are. P.S: My friend knows her plot and figured out her characters, now based on this information, can you try to help her figure out a name? Thanks! =) @ Sam H These characters are my friend's, not mine. My friend is 11 going on 12 and she came up with these names off the top of her head. By the way, this story is a fiction novel, which explains the last name Peace. She was trying to be creative xD. If you want my personal opinion. . .I like the names. They are different. Very different. And mega unique O_o. You're right, no rational person would name their child Generous Loving - but this is a book, Gina (my friend) would never name her child that. The first name is a little more realistic than the second name, I'll be honest. . . You gotta admit, she's got quite the imagination xD. Oh, and this is for fun, she doesn't want it published. Writing is one of her hobbies. I want to publish my books. She doesn't. @ Sam H These characters are my friend's, not mine. Yahoo was being gay for a minute rofl. @ dying inside Don't tell me to get originality, tell Gina. By the way, this is a book, her names can be as crazy as she damn well pleases. She's going to work on their personalities some more. And blond hair on a african, it's called hair dye. Oh, and by the way. . . The second names aren't part of their first name. Jewel is Eternity's middle name and Loving is Generous' middle name. Eternity goes by Nit and Generous goes by Gen.

Answer:
Character One: 1) What's with the name? I mean, names are supposed to be unique. But that one is just a little too unique for my tastes. Especially the "Peace" part. I've never heard anyone with the last name "Peace" It sounds like something out of a fiction novel. *cough cough* 2) Oh dear. Eternity sounds, well, entirely unlikeable. Can't she have at least ONE good trait? She also needs weaknesses and perhaps a quirk, to make her more human. 3) Why is she out of foster care when she's only sixteen? The only way I could see this happening is if a sibling took guardianship over her. Is this what happened? 4) I had to resist groaning when I read the background info. The whole evil foster parent thing is just so cliche! Character Two: 1) Again, what the heck is going on with these names? Rational people do not name their children "Generous Loving". 2) Her character sounds much better than "Eternity's", but maybe a little too perfect, and well, generous and loving. 3) I like the Christian theme, but just make sure to make her human and not perfect. So overall, your friend has interesting characters. They need work, though. I hope my comments helped, and tell your friend good luck with her writing!

Answer:
Long distance relationships suck balls. Unless you have reason to be in the same city, keep in touch, but don't waste romantic energy on this relationship. There are probably 50 guys who are just like him in Gainesville, you just haven't noticed them.
