Where can I rent luxury or sports cars in South Florida?
Question:
My younger brother is going to his Senior prom in May, and I am looking for a sports car or luxury car to drive him in for the night. Does anybody know where, and the rates for any good places in South Florida? I have checked sites like Avis, Budget, Hertz, but they will not show their fleet, or guarantee that they will have a nice car for that date. I am in Davie, I'm willing to travel to the Miami area as well. Thanks!!

Guitars: buying and selling?
Question:
I had a Epiphone USA Pro which I bought for $200, and sold for $50, cause I didnt get around to learning how to play it. QUESTION 1: Are there any specific BEGINNER guitars which KEEP their Value? QUESTION 2: Any tips for selling GUITARS? ...It was $50 in my hand versus the guitar sitting in a corner. I sold it to a professional music shop, MAE in Davie Florida. They gave me the usual crap: "We have to pay our guy to polish and shine the guitar. We have to straighten the neck." Firstly, the guitar sat in a case. the guitar itself had some dust on it, but f--ing A! A cloth with water is all it needed. and the neck needed straightening? I never played the friggin thing. All guitar necks warp a little naturally, in one direction or the other, right? I think it was bullcrap excuses by them to justify a crappy price to pay me. But the reality is that theres no shortage of guitars selling for retail prices of $150 to $200 guitars. $50 was probably a fair price to pay me. I just think the Bozo justified the $50 amount with the wrong reasons. you buy something from somebody, you spend your own time and money to clean it up. A rusty car in a junkyard that needs lots of repair work is different from a guitar that needs routine cleaning and adjustment. A guitar shop should not be taking cleanup time out of the price they pay for a guitar off the street. As I said, theres no shortage. I didnt have a rare nor high-end model, though.

Answer:
A good beginner guitar would be at the link below. I bought it a year ago and it still has the same price ($200). It's an acoustic Fender and includes: Acoustic Guitar Gig Bag Tuner DVD Strings Picks Strap For question 2, I would recommend buying/selling guitars on craigslist (it's free), and then selling it on ebay if craigslist doesn't work. Also, you could post flyers at local music schools to see if anyone is interested. Good Luck. =)

British family thinking of moving to Ft. lauderdale are?
Question:
We have two boys 7 and 11 and are looking to relcoate to the Ft. Lauderdale area. One of us was born in the USA (but not Florida) and we are looking for hopefully much warmer weather and hopefully a cheaper cost of living. I am worried about crime, as we live in a quiet town in Britain with guns and car-jacking unheard of. Where is good for families with regards to low crime, good schools, good employment opportunities and a middle - class, cosmopolitan feel? We are not high -fliers, so cannot afford expensive areas, but are not used to big cities, "red-necks", or "gang crimes". We are looking at Davie, Cooper City, Weston and Pembroke Pines, just because of the criteria mentioned above (we will have a child in high school and the other in elementary). We are also looking at that area because of my husband being in the travel industry and both Ft. lauderdale airport and Miami are close. I will also be looking for administration type work. Can anyone give us advice, we would really appreciate it? I do understand that things are tough there, but its tough here too with the global recession. Thanks.

Answer:
First thing is make sure that you can all legally live her. The one who was born in the US is a US citizen and should have no problem with all of the correct paperwork. If the the parent born in the US is the birth parent of the boys, that might be a little more complicated but doable. They would also be US citizens. If they already don't have US passports, you'll need to apply for them at the US consulate or embassy near you. The parent who wasn't born in the US will be the problem. It will be a very long process for that person to apply to live in the US legally.
