What is the average cost of living in Connecticut? Question: I am 19 years old. I am currently attending college to become a teacher. I have a good job and make a reasonable salary (9.50 an hour). My boyfirend works at an airport making 11 an hour. He works 40+ hours a week and is up for a raise in Jan. Between the two of us we bring home about 1,000 dollars a week. In the next year, we will be looking to rent a place of our own. I am however not sure about what bills I'll be paying and how much these bills will be. I am looking for advice. Phone bill Cable bill Electricity Insurance (health and car) Gas and asside from spending to buy groceries and put gas in the cars, what else is there? I am currently living in the shelton area and i plan to stay in the same general area. Any advice is welcome. Answer: Your best bet would be to visit a site like city-data.com, they have information about the average rentals, income, etc. and you can compare to different cities. Good luck! |

What time is good to leave from Virginia to Connecticut to avoid Traffic? Question: What time is good to leave from DC to Connecticut to avoid Traffic in all the states in between? I'm renting a car and making a round trip, doing this in the shortest amount of time possible would be best, so I definitely need to avoid traffic. I'm thinking leave some time around 7PM at night, then by the time I get up to the DC area it will be about 9PM, and just cruise up to Shelton, CT and get back before 7AM the next day and avoid the traffic. Question: i dont want to be home in connecticut studying for chem either you live in CT? ya why i do too lol where do you live o no way i live in farmington mmhm i live in shelton oooh ok o not bad 45 mins away i would guess yeah probably i've been to there highschool to your highschool for soccer its bigger than mine ohhh really?! haha its old but yeah it is a big schoool compared to my school its like huge mines pretty small but hey at least im out of connecituct nothing there to do lol agreed dont you agree though that bryant is kinda like connecticut quiet and all umm in a way, but I love i there ya same here but its not cuz its different its cuz were away from the parents thats it lmao now tell me thats not true yeah its fun to be able to d owhatever, but I still do miss my parents same same college does change you lol yea i was set in all in leaving home i didn't want to go to uconn so i camehere to ge taway lol me either but i do miss them to uconn is like highschool over again mmhm! and i like my decision now i didn't take into account taking a science class in a business school but hey i cant be right about everything lol lol sry im not tryna be cocky lol hah k i'll stop embarassing my self ( head down) hahaa aww no youre not thats good so how often do you go home hardly ever.. I dont have a car at school so my parents come up to visit sometimes, and obviously holidays, but other than that I dont really go ho,me wow you have no one to drive you home either noo aww thats sad do you want to go home often not really, I'm really close with my parents and siblings, but its college, i want to enjoy the time here, plus, if im always hoem there isnt much too do really well if you ever interested sheltons on my way home so i wouldn't mind stopping if you ever want to go home but ya true true thanks alright I'm calling it quits with studying for now lol lol why you quitting im just tired lol it depends on how long it is though im sure you put in some effort Answer: No, that just sounds like talking to me. |
