Any good experiences with a car dealership in Denver, Co?
Question:
I am in the market to buy a new or semi-used car. I'm new to Colorado so wanted to see if anyone had any good experiences to share regarding a dealership and/or a specific dealer. Any sales? Good buys? I live IN Northglenn so if you know of any in the city, Westminster, Thornton, and up North would be more convenient. Your information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

Answer:
Every dealership is out to make money. Best thing you can do is be prepared, know what you want, and know what you should pay. This will help you get ready: http://www.edmunds.com/car-buying/10-steps-to-buying-a- new-car.html http://www.edmunds.com/car-buying/10-steps-to-buy ing-a-used-car.html

Is it safe to travel by bus to my college?
Question:
I will be living in Westminster, Colorado and will be attending Regis University in the Denver campus in the fall semester. I don't have a car, so most likely I will take the bus. I think I will take number 31 bus. I like the look of the college campus, but the neighborhood area around Regis College looks unsettle maybe not safe and scary to me. I will take classes during daytime to afternoon. Since I am a female, I and will be traveling alone, and I am afraid if some guy might sexual harras me or something. do you think it might be unsafe for me? I think I should be ok if I take classes during daytime and afternoon, I don't think I might get robbed or sexual harrass during this time. I will prevent taking evening classes just in case. I will dress conservative and be careful, and i believe no one would bother me.

Answer:
Your sexual fantasies will most likely not be fulfilled. While nothing in life is guaranteed 100% safe, the area you are talking about is not particularly unsafe. People do not grab strangers in public in daylight and sexually harass them. even in the worst of neighborhoods. If you think "the neighborhood area around Regis College looks unsettle maybe not safe and scary" you definitely need to travel more. Moving to CO this fall: no car? Is a commute logical?
Question:
I am moving to Colorado in September for school. My school is in Lakewood, but my roommate's school is in Boulder. I am considering living somewhere like Westminster, central between Denver and Boulder. Neither of us will have cars for a little while, is this a logical plan? Are the bus systems reliable enough to commute 20 minutes or so (regular driving) everyday to Lakewood and Boulder? Any knowledgeable input is greatly appreciated!!!

Answer:
I would recommend living in downtown Denver. This is the hub for most of the transportation routes. There is a frequent service to Boulder up to midnight. The bus will leave you right at the U of Colorado. Also, Denver has great social and night life for two young people. The LoDo district has experienced an explosion of new condos, restaurants and galleries. There are also a couple of excellent bike paths, making it easy to get around the city. Westminster is really just a suburb. You'll feel trapped there without a car. Also, the U of Colorado gives students' a bus pass as part of your student fees. So, the buses in the entire Denver metro area are 'free'. See www.rtd-denver.com for routes. Me: www.peterwaynephotography.com

Where can I find a white 1996 Toyota Tacoma?
Question:
My dream car is a WHITE 1996 TOYOTA TACOMA! I was watching one on yahoo.cars, but it was sold. =*( so now I'm sad. But, it was green and I want a white one. I want it to be automatic transmission, and 4-wheel drive. So I just need to know a good place (online or offline) that I can find a used white 1996 Toyota Tacoma. I live in Northglenn, Colorado and I don't want to drive to far to find one. I would want it to be at a used car dealership pretty close to the Northglenn/Thornton/Westminster area. Anything helps if it gets me closer to my favorite car. So thank you!

Answer:
Check the junk yards in your area. Lots of them will be there since the frames rusted in half. Read about it here: http://www.toyotaframerust.com/index.php?option=com_content&task= view&id=14&Itemid=1 Watch it happen in real life here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INujD8kuc5s

Still want to legal pot?
Question:
Don't we have enough yo-yo's out there? Consider the following: Naked man on U.S. 34 attracts attention, cops While Greeley and other cities debate medical marijuana, a bizarre case east of Greeley last weekend may fuel arguments about the issue. The incident took place last Friday near Dearfield on U.S. 34, about 30 miles east of Greeley. According to arrest reports, a naked man hit and damaged vehicles, walked over the top of one car and spit on a state trooper. The suspect, Dustin Robbins, 27, of Westminster, told sheriff's deputies he grows medical marijuana and sells it to people who have prescriptions for the drug. The numerous charges to be filed against Robbins include five counts of indecent exposure, assault on a police officer, driving while under the influence of marijuana, two counts of harassment and reckless driving. The incident began about 5 p.m. Friday, when Robbins was driving west on the highway and a witness reported his car was swerving into the path of oncoming vehicles, then swerving back out of the way. When Robbins stopped his car and got out, a witness said he was shirtless and his pants were down around his ankles. He pulled his pants completely off, then stood naked in the middle of the highway, cursing at passing cars and hitting some of them with his fists. This created a traffic jam, according to witnesses. Two Greeley women in their 70s and 80s later told deputies that a naked man ran at their car, jumped on the hood and broke the windows with his fists and feet, then walked over the roof, down over the trunk and ran away. Damage to the car was estimated at $1,200. When the drivers called police, the first to arrive was a Colorado State Patrol trooper, who arrested Robbins. It was then that Robbins spit in the trooper's face, according to reports. That resulted in the assault charge. Deputies who searched Robbins' car said they found 4 ounces of marijuana and a notebook containing certificates for medicinal marijuana. The notebook listed Robbins as the “caretaker” for his customers, who had prescriptions for medicinal marijuana. Deputies did not find a license for dispensing medicinal marijuana. A test of Robbins' blood at the hospital indicated he was under the influence of marijuana. He remains in the Weld County Jail with a bond set at $50,000. ___________________________________________________ And if your answer is to point out about those on booze, I'd say it is an equally damaging drug, if not moreso. http://www.greeleytribune.com/article/20091002/NEWS/910029989 /1001 Charlie, your an idiot..if you read the whole question, you'd see my 2 cents on booze.

What do activists have to say here 2 illegals driving drunk man in serious condition & the other is dead?
Question:
GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - A Guntersville man is fighting for his life in Huntsville Hospital after he was hit on his motorcycle by what authorities are calling an illegal immigrant. Guntersville police are watching the situation closely, because the man is in very serious condition in the intensive care unit. 27-year-old Leobardo Maldonado of Blountsville is being held on a quarter of a million dollars bond on charges of first degree assault, leaving the scene of an accident with injuries and driving under the influence. Police say Maldonado hit the motorcycle that was being driven by 40-year-old Jerry Lee Wright early Sunday morning. Guntersville Police say the accident happened on Highway 431 at the intersection that a Shell convenience store is located. Police say there were five officers assisting in a traffic stop at that location that witnessed the crash. "What we saw happen was a white Mercury Mountaineer traveling northbound in the left hand lane strike a motorcycle that was sitting still at the traffic light," said Guntersville Police Officer Anthony Harbin. Guntersville police say the suspect was apprehended a short distance later after a short chase. Two others riding with the suspect, Ambrocio Armendariz-Delgado and Delgado Torrez, both 32 of Scottsboro, were also charged with public intoxication. Guntersville police say Immigration, Customs, and Enforcement officials have been contacted. http://www.waff.com/Global/story.asp?S=12841752 WE STMINSTER - A man faces several charges after investigators say he ran a red light and hit a motorcycle, killing the driver. According to Colorado State Patrol, the man who ran the light is not in the United States legally. The accident happened on Friday night at the intersection of 70th Avenue and Broadway Street in Westminster. The driver, 25-year-old Efrain Villegas ran a red light and hit 59-year-old John Brand, who was on his motorcycle, according to the State Patrol. Brand's girlfriend, Debbie Pyatok, was also on the motorcycle. Villegas had a passenger, Rubin Garcia Torres. Brand and Pyatok were transported to Denver Health Medical Center where Brand died from his injuries. Pyatok walked away with some scrapes and bruises. "He didn't deserve to die," Pyatok said. "I remember looking over and I had tires coming at my head. I tucked and rolled. I saw the bike and I realized it was us in the crash. I saw him [Brand] laying on the ground." "I was telling him not to move and I love him," she said. The State Patrol says Villegas drove off and two witnesses jumped in a car and followed them. "The suspects drove northbound on Broadway into a cul-de-sac, where they got out of their car and fled on foot. The two citizens were able to restrain the passenger until State Patrol arrived on scene," Sgt. John Hahn with the Colorado State Patrol said. "It just can't be overstated enough the importance of witnesses. We don't certainly advocate people following suspects at high rates of speed, but in this case it very definitely helped us." Villegas faces 10 counts, including vehicular homicide, driving under the influence, and driving without insurance or a license. Villegas will appear in court on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. He is currently in custody in Adams County Jail on a $50,000 bond. The passenger in his car has not been charged with anything. Brand leaves behind a son and three grandchildren. "I just loved him. He was a great person. Everyone's going to miss him," Pyatok said. http://www.9news.com/news/article.aspx?storyid=144566&cati d=339 immigration status has to do with DUI.If you notice in each case the illegals took off and did not care about what they left behind.People dying is more serious than Lohan how many people did she leave DEAD ?

Answer:
If they only killed each other in their alchohol fueled excesses I wouldn't mind. But they don't, do they? They kill decent hard-working Americans. Americans with Families who will never see that family member again. PEOPLE: Do you want this to happen to someone in your family? If not, support DEPORTATIONS NOW! >>>>>>>>>> MexRica, Yes, there are people killed by drunks of all backgrounds, I don't deny that. But it just so happens that per capita, many more come from illegals than many other groups. And some of these other groups we can't help, they are Americans and we're stuck with them. The point being, though, that if the illegals weren't here driving, those that THEY kill would still be alive. We can't stop ALL drunk drivers, but we must stop all we can. And if we got rid of the illegals, that's a good start.
