What junkyard in Commerce City or Denver will let me look around for hubcaps and other car parts?
Question:
I want to look for some hubcaps or rims (not a particular type, just something that will fit my car) what auto parts yard will let me in without treating me like I want to steal or break everything? I would also like to find a place with some classic cars and parts, if there are any there that fit this description.

Answer:
Most wont let you in because of the reasons you mentioned. Plus there is a safety issue too. Wrecked cars stacked up, sharp edges and glass, we are in a claim culture, they wont want to be sued. I would go and see them and explain your situation. I think most of the good items like trims will be behind the counter anyway. If they are a good breaker they might have an idea of what you want or could possibly suggest an item for you. The other option is look on the internet for pictures of the stuff or ideas of what you want, print it out and take it to them. You can then save wasting your time as they can see what your looking for.

Which city should I choose in Australia?
Question:
I am 27 year old Arab, from Saudi Arabia, I met many from Australia here in Saudi Arabia and in Dubai, they where either friends or a seminar instructor or university professors they all advice me to go for my master in finance in Australia. So I took the step and applied for different universities. And the apply came back, I didn’t know which school to choose so please help me choose, Griffith university (Ms in commerce finance and banking) University of new castle (Ms of applied finance) University of Wollongong (Ms of finance) Others waiting for replay, University of Adelaide (Ms in commerce applied finance) UNSW (Ms of finance) RMIT (Ms of finance) Should I go for masters or an MBA, I am not studying to find a better job position or pay, I am looking forward for the knowledge I gain (I spend 14 weeks a year in seminars and courses in investment, that’s why the instructors advice me to stop spending money on them and go and get a higher degree) I have acceptance too, from the UK, Canada and the US. I hate cold weather and rainy weather, so Canada and the UK, is out. 90% of Saudi students go to the US, so I want to be different... Australia is the best choice... I need your help in choosing the city, Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. When it comes to weather, in term of rain and cold weather. Natural disasters, Racism, house robbery, drugs, pollution, car theft. Stores or fast food chains open 24 hours, hotels, beaches (summer all year long), How important is having a car in Australia?(we drive everywhere here gas prices per liter 0.2 AUD) what do I need to know about car driving and insurance and buying or renting a car. Renting my own place or living on campus. What should I watch out for and beware from. How to act and what to say and not to say (for example I speak with North American accent, does it look bad when speaking with North American accent). Making friends and meeting people. What do you consider rude? I want to enjoy my time, as if it is a year long vacation. Thank you for your answers

Answer:
27 yr old arab hey, you remind me of sami and samir. go for either masters or mba - which ever one you feel you can handle I would choose either Adelaide, Newcastle or Wollongong - the others are too busy, too polluted, and not enough housing dont worry about rain and cold weather - it gets cold here no matter where you live - not extremely cold but cold enough - you will get used to it - and at present hardly any rain anywhere - you dont have to worry about natural disasters - none happen - racism is everywhere against all types of people - drugs and crime is like anywhere else I guess - but the towns I mentioned above would be smaller criminal activities as far as I am concerned - car is important I spose if you wish to be independent and get around from A to B we drive on the left hand side of the road here you would be able to pick a car up cheap enough better option than renting one, renting would be available for students either in your own unit/flat or share house or live on campus. dont worry about your accent people from all over the world live here and some cant speak english at all. you will make friends there are plenty of arabs living here in australia. just respect people as you would like to be respected - cheers

Single car collision. Appeal to city, said I am less than 50% fault. I still pay deductible?
Question:
On a snow day, I hit the side of a road. After submitting an appeal to the city, I got letter saying I am less than 50% fault. Commerce Insurance still would not give me back the deductible. Is that normal?

Answer:
The city does not decide fault for your insurance company. A single car collision on the snowiest of days is still 100% at fault as far as they are concerned. Regardless of conditions, it is expected that you will exercise enough caution to maintain control of your vehicle, even if that means driving 5mph or staying off the roads altogether. If the city feels you are not at fault, see if they will reimburse your deductible. Your insurance company will not.

Realtors and the cars they are required to drive...why?
Question:
One of my neighbors is a Realtor who has three cars:a '77 Chevy Nova coupe, a '07 Honda Ridgeline "truck", and a '89 Olds Toronado... He owns his own realty firm here in town, but now the local board of Realtors is harassing him because of those cars he drives...he's sold more homes in the area than those fellow Realtors affiliated w/ the "big-name" companies(Century 21, Prudential, Coldwell Banker, etc.), and the clients tell him to NOT sell those cars because he emotes the "small-town" feel, while his "friends and colleagues" are driving around in their Lexuses, Infinitis, and Lincolns and making fun of his "junk"...I think they're JEALOUS, and yet they act like Donald Trump(all "hoity-toity" and stuff like that)...and yet he will NOT give up those cars... The board has gone so far as to threaten to revoke his city's business license(AND Chamber of Commerce membership!) simply because he will not "toe the line" and drive a "upscale" car... Is it a REQUIREMENT for ALL Realtors to drive ONLY "upscale" cars, just simply to uphold/maintain a certain "image"? I also apologize to ALL Realtors nationwide for asking this ?, but my neighbor's just sick and tired of this "rule", especially here in the L.A. area... Please explain...thanks... I didn't say it was the law in your state/county/city or town, but it's just ludicrous that any Realtor has to "toe the line" and drive something as part of his work just to make his "friends" happy...I do agree w/ that last answer, though...

Answer:
You too, Monty? I have a friend who actually got kicked off her local board of Realtors(and her Chamber of Commerce membership revoked) just because she continued to drive her '75 Dodge "Baja Van" despite repeated calls for her to drive a Lexus instead...and like your neighbor, she was an independent Realtor as well...she HATES Lexus and Infiniti, and she got NO complaints from her clients, so she kept up HER image!...and paid the price for it...she once lived out in Temecula(only for 2/ 1/2 years), but community pressure(mostly religious, of course!) forced her to move to the San Gabriel Valley five months ago! Reassure your neighbor that he's not alone in this dilemma!

how to start a public transportation company?
Question:
i live in an medium size rural area with a population of 276,555.The only means of transportation is by car or taxi.I recently came up with the idea to start a public transportation company.I got as far as finding where i will purchase buses, vendors for equipment and garage location. However when i called the state commerce they stated that i wasn't allowed to post stop signs in city limits. is there a way around this?is this idea actually feasible?

Answer:
Yes of course, instead of using STOP SIGNS use BUS STOP SIGNS. :).. In all be creative with the SIGN, turn it into an advertisement sign, that states BUS STOPS HERE... ;) thats one way around it.. they only stopping you from doing it, so they can contract it out ;) GOOD LUCK

How much will car tints cost?
Question:
I am hoping to get a 2005 chevy cobalt sport. It's a 2 door. I've wanted to get tints on my current car but knew it would be a waste since I was getting a new car soon. How much would it cost to buy and have tints installed on a two door cobalt in Michigan? If the city matters, I live in Oakland county, walled lake/Wixom/commerce township area. Thank you!!

Answer:
first off be careful not to tint the front windows past the state limit. and get ready to get pulled over ALOT, i have tinted windows on my truck withing michigans limits (im from mi to) and whenever i drive down to the city it seems i always get pulled over so make sure you have prooof the tint was installed in a dealership that way your not liable to get any tickets (just the inconvience of getting pulled over for nothing) also if you meet michigans limit but travel to a state that has a tint law you can get tickets then. i drive a 07 F-350 and it cost me $60

What responsibility do businesses have for theft?
Question:
Do you feel (in the general case) that this is reasonable to take to court? I have had between $10000-$20000 worth of work done on my first project car at one performance shop in Denver (Commerce City) alone in addition to what has been done at other shops and by the previous owner. On Tuesday night it was stolen from his shop (apparently stupidly parked outside). He claims that he has no responsibility and does not have to do anything. He says he will quote "help me out" which on his terms means helping me FIND replacement parts, not replace them. The damages are still being assessed as it was recovered Wednesday night and Commerce City CSI still needs to process the vehicle. The car is stripped, including seats and sound system, the only news I am waiting on is what is left under the hood which is the most crucial area. Do businesses really have no liability for their client's property while it is under their care!? Thank you, Daryl The car had been in his possession for about a week. He had put it inside his shop some of the days but left it out there that night. So yes, HE put it in the street. And I would classify that as negligence as it wasn't even within his fence. It is also a pretty common car to steal so he should have taken especially good care of it.

Answer:
OK, was the car in his 'care custody and control?' It doesn't actually matter how much work you had done on the car - if it's in his custody, if he left it on the street, then HE is responsible for your car. If YOU left it parked on the street, then he is NOT responsible for your car. So. Who left it on the street? The PROBLEM is, does he have coverage. Many, MANY of these shops, have "legal liability only" coverage - meaning he has to be negligent. Now, there's a strong arguement that leaving the car on the street, instead of in a secured lot or building, IS negligence - hence the 'who left the car there' question. Bottom line - some of this will vary by state. If you have theft coverage under YOUR policy, do talk to your agent about the specifics; file the claim under your policy; and talk about state laws and custody of cars laww in your state with your adjuster.

What do you think another illegal picked up & arrested for drunk driving fatal hit & run deported once before?
Question:
DENVER -- Denver police have arrested a 28-year-old Aurora man in connection with the hit-and-run death of a nightclub valet, police said Wednesday afternoon. Eliu Montes-Garcia was arrested in Aurora on Tuesday night, Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson said. Montes-Garcia's arrest came after police seized a white GMC pickup in Commerce City believed to have been used in the hit-and-run. Jackson said it's unclear what Garcia's role is in the death of 21-year-old Jose Medina "We're not saying he's the driver. His role exactly has not been determined yet," Jackson said. "We're still looking for other additional parties.” Medina was hit outside the Rockstar Lounge on Saturday night as he was helping a woman out of her car. Witnesses said the truck struck with such force it bent back the parked car door Medina was holding open and knocked the valet 50 feet. "We did locate a pickup truck that had the plate we were looking for and consistent damage which appears to have been involved in that accident," Jackson said. Earlier, police said the pickup had damage to its front right fender and along the passenger side. Garcia is being held in connection with the hit-and-run in a Denver jail, Jackson said. Garcia Had Been Deported Garcia was arrested in Alamosa County in May 2007 for felony distribution of dangerous drugs, driving without a license, improper license plates and driving under restraint, court records said. He was convicted on felony drug possession in July 2007 and served nine months in Colorado prison, according to court records. Federal immigration authorities placed a hold on him while he was in prison and he was deported in March 27, 2008, state officials told 7NEWS. It appears he returned to the United States illegally.( It appears ) U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Wednesday placed a "No Bond Allowed" hold on Montes-Garcia, according to Denver jail records http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/26628310/detail.htm l

Answer:
US Statistics show that 64% of traffic accidents are related to illegal aliens. The numbers are appalling and ridiculous. However usually their status is kept out of the papers and unless someone died never deported. Other statistics suggest in states with a significant amount of illegal aliens over 70% of crime is connected to illegal aliens. This isn't just border states but around 35 states. The problem is these illegals can be deported but will be back by dinner time from a border that isn't secured. The illegals also get to go before a judge and plea for being allowed to stay along with unlimited amount of appeals on the US taxpayers dime. Of course the Media be it the liberal media or Faux News want nothing to do with serious reporting on all of this. The Liberal Media which is the vast majority of Media currently support the Globalist Liberal agenda and Faux News has the Faux Latino side so they don't want to look anti Latino as 93% of illegals in the US are Latino while 99% of the crime commited by illegals (besides immigraion violations) is done by Latino illegals.

Did his immigration status have something to do with illegal who was deported twice returns man now dead?
Question:
Did his immigration status have something to do with illegal who was deported twice returns man now dead ?Denver police have arrested an illegal immigrant who was deported twice in 2008 in connection with the hit-and-run death of a parking valet last Saturday. Eliu Montes-Garcia is under arrest in the crash that killed valet Jose Medina. A Mexican national, Montes-Garcia apparently returned to the United States after being deported "Eliu Montes-Garcia, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, received final deportation orders from a federal immigration judge, and was deported by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Jan. 18, 2008," U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesman Carl Rusnok said in an email Wednesday. "He was subsequently deported again on March 27, 2008 after he tried to illegally re-enter the United States." Montes-Garcia is being held without bond at the Downtown Denver Detention Center. ICE has placed a hold on him, assuring that he will be placed into the agency's custody if he is released. He is scheduled to appear in court this morning. Rusnok said that anyone who is deported due to an aggravated felony conviction can receive a maximum of 20 years in prison. It isn't clear whether he is suspected of being behind the wheel when the accident occurred outside the Rockstar Lounge in Downtown Denver. Police declined on Wednesday to reveal their basis for detaining Montes-Garcia. "We do have an individual under arrest in this incident. His exact involvement is still under investigation," said Denver Police Detective John White. In 2007 he was arrested in Alamosa County for driving without a license, unlawful display of license plates and drug possession. He received a two year sentence and was turned over to the Department of Corrections in October, 2007, said CDOC spokeswoman Katherine Sanguinetti. He was turned over to federal immigration authorities on Jan. 2, 2008, she said. The owner of the pickup truck suspected in the hit-and-run that killed Medina, 21, says that she sold the vehicle three months ago, Gabriel Schwartz, a lawyer for the dead man's family said. The registration wasn't transferred to the new owner, and her plates weren't changed. Denver police found the GMC extended-cab pickup in Commerce City at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday after police received a tip. Medina was thrown about 100 feet by the impact when he was holding the door of a car open for a patron late Saturday outside the Rockstar Lounge, on Lincoln Street near East Ninth Avenue. Investigators noted damage to the truck that is consistent with "striking the victim in this case," said Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson. "We are still trying to determine who might have been behind the wheel at the time of the accident." City officials said Tuesday that the club didn't have the permits needed to provide the parking service. http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_17205909 Will Mexico be sending this family $ 25 million since they demand law and order

Answer:
Denver is a sanctuary city and most likely they will release the illegal fearing by arresting him, illegals will distrust police, will not report crimes and will not report if they are a crime victim, therefore he will be set free to appease the illegals fear of police
