The problem with buying a used motor of any sort is that it may break down as well in the next few weeks or more (especially without some sort of warranty), but getting an overhaul on an engine the confidence of having new parts installed is more comforting. I really need to know what is a decent price on a 4 cylinder overhaul. Thank you all for your feedback!

Answer:
If you rebuild it will you could easily dump $5000 into it. Why not take a different route, get a motor from a wrecking yard. Just find a 240 with lower miles that was rear ended and you should be set, you can usually pick up a complete motor for $500 add another $500 to get it installed. Just call around to your local bone yards and see what you come up with.

battery charge dropping due to cold weather?????

Its a 2001 nissan altima, last time i ended up calling road side assistance to charge it up, today i tried to turn it on from my garage , but no charge. i havent used it for the last 2 weeks. Anyways, I think you don't need to mention Other Activities section unless they are needed in the career you'd like. Include your achievements or awards regarding the career you'd like. A plus factor for a resume is it's appearance so make sure that it would be presentable but not overdecorated. Use lever arch files to protect your resume if you need a hard copy of it. Who's at fault for this car accident?

About a year ago I was involved in a car accident. I was stopped at a two-way intersection around 5:30pm on a wet, cloudy day. I was stopped for about 3-5 minutes checking for traffic. The intersection is located in a residential area w/ a lot of apartment buildings. Residents frequently park along the side of the road which can make it a little difficult to see oncoming traffic. I believed that the intersection was clear and proceeded through. About halfway through, I saw a black sporty car coming towards me. It took me a second to realize that the car was speeding and showing no signs of slowing down. Because I was already more than halfway through and believed I would be hit, I sped up. The driver of the other car did not attempt to slow down or stop until right before the collision. My little car was hit hard enough to push it the rest of the way through the intersection and spin it 180 degrees. Later, at the hospital, I was served with a ticket for failure to yield the right of way. I made my court appearance and paid the fine. Several months later I got a call from the other driver's insurance company (Young America) saying I was at fault for the accident and owed them nearly $8,000 in damages. Unfortunately, I was not insured at the exact moment of the accident so I can't get my insurance company to take care of this for me (I was driving under the belief that I did have insurance, but my company never took my payment so I did not technically have any). I went to the police department and asked for a copy of the police report (yes I should have done this in the first place) and read it word for word. This is when I learned that the other driver so was drunk at the time of the accident that responding officer could smell the alcohol on his breath from 10ft away. The other driver was actually arrested for DUI and attempting to assault the responding officer. All of this happened in Aurora, Colorado. I had just moved from Alabama where the person who could have avoided the accident is considered at fault. If you hit someone while driving drunk, the accident is considered your fault. I thought this was true for all states. So my question, is this accident truly my fault or is the insurance company just trying to get me to pay so they don't have to? PS when I asked the insurance company for an itemized bill for the repairs, all I got was an estimate for services. I was told that they didn't need to send the bill because everything that was on the estimate was what was done to the car.

Since you have no insurance, you have three choices, pay them, fight them on your own or hire a lawyer. The fact that the guy got a ticket for drunk driving means absolutely nothing and does not change liability in any way, shape or form. Keep in mind that there are two kinds of "fault". One type is for traffic offenses. That kind of fault is determined by cops and/or judges. The other type of fault is for liability for repairs/damages as the result of an accident. The second type is only determined by the involved insurance companies. Since you had no insurance, who do you suppose the other guy's insurance company is going to hold liable? You can fight it but I'll put my money on the insurance company. You thought you had insurance? Yeah right....
