I'm buying a new car in Wyoming, it is cheaper to license the car in Montana and all that but I don't want to change my driver's license since i just got a new one for Wyoming. Does anyone know what I have to do to get a MT license plate?

You can register a car anywhere you want, PROVIDING you have an address in Montana, You will need to have a physical address in Mt. I have a Ut dl and I have a small piece of land in Idaho, so yeah I register my truck in Idaho

It is illegal in all 50 states & yes the owner of the vehicle can also get into trouble if they knowingly & willfully allow an unlicensed driver to drive their car. Especially if the unlicensed driver is in a collision resulting in injuries.

I am trying to sell my used car, but am unsure of how to go about transferring the title. I am living in San Diego and I'd like to quickly sell my old car. Does anyone have experience selling a car with out of state plates and title? Is it even possible?

Answer:
It is really no big deal. You need to give the buyer the Wyoming title, bill of sale and odometer statement (you can get the form at Calif. DMV) and a smog certificate. He then needs to go to California DMV and have the car verified which is free and only takes a few minutes and then transfer it like any other car.

Is it legal for passengers to drink alcohol in a car in South Dakota and/or Wyoming?

Answer:
TEA-21 required certain road laws to be uniform throughout all states. So while it's a state law, it's uniform like a federal one. So always illegal to have an open container, whether or not it's being drunk at all. Never mind the driver.
