What is the statute of limitations for the crime of throwing eggs at cars in Washington State?
Question:
My brother recently discovered that his juvenile son and his son's friend threw some eggs at cars being driven on one of the local roads here in King County, Washington State. The incident happened 6-months ago during a holiday break. The kid is in trouble, but from a legal standpoint, what is the crime, and what is the statue of limitations on this type of an offense?

Answer:
The limitations of actions for Washington can be found here: http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=9A.04.080 I'm not sure exactly what crime they would be charged with.

Is there any way to avoid getting an auto dealer license when selling used cars in the state of Washington?
Question:
In Washington State if you sell more than 4 used cars within a year you are required to get an auto dealer license, get bonded and set up an actual car lot with an office building, signage and regular business hours. I'm looking to buy and flip maybe 1 car a month. Is there any legal way around having to establish an actual dealership? Thanks for your help.

Answer:
Yes, you can get 3 friends who can buy those 4 cars each per year, you can pay them 50.00 for each car they register in their name - and if that is worth it to you - 600.00 or get a license.

Buy two cars get them for a cheaper price in Washington?
Question:
You know the deals where if you buy two cars you get them for a cheaper price? I've seen them on commercials but I can't remember which on. Does anyone know any dealerships in Washington? Thanks.

Answer:
If you're talking about new cars, we all pay the exact same price for them. Nobody is going to sell a car for less than they paid for it, so you might as well shop locally...the service people will take better care of you, plus the $$ stays local. If you're talking used cars, find a high volume dealership and go for the gusto. Do it as 2 different deals. Otherwise, you'll get confused and end up paying too much. Good luck.

what is the sales tax in washington for cars?
Question:
im looking to buy a used car in washington state and i am wondering what percent they tax you? or if anyone knows how much the registration fee will be

Answer:
The tax is the same rate as EVERY other purchase. The registration fee depends on the vehicle.

Can a person who owns a body shop sell used cars in the state of Washington without a license?
Question:
I would be happy to find out where to find out this information also. I tried the web page for the State of Washington but could not find an answer.

Answer:
NO....car sales dealers, new or used, must be licensed by the state....unless we are talking about a personally owned vehicle sold by an individual.

what are the minimum insurance coverage amounts required in Washington for cars ?

Answer:
They are $25,000 per person, $50,000 per accident and $10,000 property damage. All are way too low especially the PD limit. If you total any new vehicle, you are going to be paying out of pocket for the difference. Edit - prior was for Washingto State. If DC: Bodily Injury Liability: $25,000/$50,000 Limit Property Damage Liability: $10,000 Limit Uninsured Motorist Bodily Injury: $25,000/$50,000 Limit Uninsured Motorist Property Damage: $5,000 Limit

I NEED A TOWING COMPANY THAT WILL BRING TWO CARS TO ARIZONA FROM WASHINGTON STATE???!!!?
Question:
I have two cars in Blaine, Washington and I need a a towing company to bring them to Phoenix, Arizona... Please can someone tell me of a company that will bring them from Washington to Arizona. Thanks!

Answer:
I personally had a 2001 Mitsubishi eclipse moved from Portland Oregon to Tampa Florida it cost me 1050, You Must do a lot of research, make sure you go to the better business bureau website: http://www.bbb.org/online/ that way you can pick a moving companie that has a C or C+ or Higher rating because a lot of this moving companies will not move your car for months or not move it at all, you want to make sure you just are not giving your car to some thief that just has a semi and steal your car, you have to make sure they have a license to move the cars. Shop around to get the best deal I had companies that would charge me anywhere from 700$$ to 2000$$ But the best thing you can do again is to go to the better business bureau website. There you will be able to read reviews from customers and see what they're rating is, you will also be able to get the contact information for the companie you choose. Good luck and don't get ripped off

cost of rental cars from washington state to california. one way trip?
Question:
i am curious as to know how much it would cost to rent a car in northern washington state (near the canadian border) and drive it down to san diego. anyone have any ideas???

Answer:
One way car rentals average between $100 - $200 a day.. and can be much more depending on the vehicle, time of year, pick up and drop off city, etc. Car rental companies will either charge a base rate plus a drop off fee or just charge a higher rate per day.. make sure to compare rates with several companies to make sure that you're getting the best deal. Try and keep the rental as few days as possible, and check rates using a discount code if you qualify.

Why should Washington be handing out our tax dollars to help people buy cars in the cash for clunkers program?
Question:
Why give away a billion dollars we don't have? Is there ANYTHING this administration thinks we cannot afford?

Answer:
Because that is our stupid government. Hell the only people even using this program are people that have the money to spend, not the average struggling American. So once again our government wastes money basically giving the wealthy who can afford to spend the additional $3500-$4500 a free handout and passing the bill off to the middle income taxpayers yet again. Way to go D.C. you are a bunch of losers.
