Do bears in Montana attack cars on the highway? Question: I've been told that bears will stand out in the road and make you stop and then try to attack. They are strong enough to take a door off a car. Are bears a real hazard in Montana? Answer: No bears just do not stand by the highway and say okay now I am going to attack this car. For the most part they are scared of humans and want nothing to do with us. While a bear may cross the road trust me he is not going after the car, he is just moving in his territory looking for food, a mate ect... If however you PROVOKE the bear than yes it will attack you and your car after all it is a wild animal. I have seen footage of bears that have broken into cars at campsites looking for food, again they are doing what they were made for seek and find food for survival. When ever something like this happens it is almost always human error. If you are camping or hiking in MT make sure you follow some basic bear guidelines. Don't leave food out, or near your campsite. Carry bear mace and if you are hiking wear a bear bell. If they hear something coming they will take off, however if you go a around a corner and surprise them they might attack. I have been to MT, and we did a lot of hiking and I am still here to tell the story. Just be smart, like with ANY animal. I hope this helps. |

Answer: they did this for the fact of erosion of the banks, they felt it stopped the banks from eroding too fast, think it's an excuse for getting rid of a old unwanted car myself |

If you are talking license plate cost only, then that's probably true (unless you get he fund raiser ones) Otherwise, you'll pay way more than that as a civilian. Yes, he has to be on the title and yes you can have the names of two people on the title. It will take at least a couple of weeks to get the title back from Deer Lodge. However, we tried to do that (when my husband was still active duty) and the assessor looked at my husband like he was on crack and said "nice try" and charged us the regular rate for the second car. If it had been in his name only, we probably could have gotten away with it. |

Even if you still had the previous car you would have had to get a new Wisconsin policy on it once the MT policy expired at the latest. Simply contact a local agent to see about getting a policy (through AAA if you liked them) or shop around for a good price in your new address. |

Do I have to pay illinois sales take if registering a car bought in Montana? Question: If I buy my car in Montana where there is no sales, and later move to Illinois and register it there, will they charge me the sales tax? I know California does this. I mean to say, will they bundle the taxes into the registration fee. (thats how Cali does it) Answer: not if you already registered it elsewhere. I've always owned tiny two door cars that are perfect for the type of weather here in Memphis. Can someone suggest a car that would be better suited for Montana's weather? Answer: As long as it's front wheel drive, you're good to go. I live in Oregon... and it snows ALOT where I live. You don't need a 4 wheel drive, though they are nice, they are gas guzzlers. Front wheel drive cars handle very well on bad roads. Get a good set of tires and throw a set of chains in your trunk for heavy snow. Good luck! |

American automakers INVENTED planned obsolescence, so why should i support them? Plus, I would much rather support some worker overseas making a fair wage to feed his/her family rather than support some shitty, lazy ass union worker making some ridiculously over-inflated wage. I've never bought American vehicles in my life (well, I'm 16), and I plan on keeping it like that. I go for anything European, especailly UK and German. I have a stock 1973 Volkswagen Beetle, which is a perfect car. Wonder why American competition couldnt compare with success. They don't get the point of the free market system- the customer buys what the customer wants, simple as that. American automakers put out the shittiest cars at the highest price, which is bullshit. I am glad Chrystler went bankrupt, so not only do they get a feel for what it's like to take advantage of the idiots in America, many stupid union workers got laid off.
