Is it true that in Maine, cars don't have air conditioning? Question: Or was a it a law decades ago that cars could not be sold by dealers (new cars) if they had an AC unit? Answer: Perhaps not a commonly ordered option for the economy minded consumer in Maine, but of course they have A/C in cars in Maine! |

Why are domestic cars primarily bought, sold, and owned in Maine vs. Imports? Question: Imported cars (Honda Toyota and Nissan) are more readily available in others states more so than Maine. Why is that? Answer: Domestic cars are the big cars, the ones with more power and weight. There are more four wheel drive vehicles made in America than anywhere else in the world and that four wheel drive is essential in Maine, considering Maine's snow and ice, which can cause problems on the road for two wheel drive vehicles. |

You can find plenty of great cheap cars on GovernmentAuctions.org They are a gov auctions website that has listing for seized and surplus cars for the entire USA. There are thousands of listings for the east coast alone. You could give them a shot and probably find something that you like. There are a lot of newer cars out there as well. This cuts out the car dealer - which isn't a bad thing. |

Question: My old driving instructor said that dark green cars get in the most crashes because of the fact that they blend in. i own a silver mazda 3 but my best friends mom has a dark green trail blaizer and we always make fun of eachothers cars for fun. i told her that and she said its red cars that get in the most accidents. i didnt really have much of a retort cause everyone else that was there agreed with her but its been bugging me since then. I'm looking for info on the history of Maine State police pursuit cars from 1980-81/mainly Mach1 Mustangs? Question: I have got the actual registration sticker still on windshield of my 1971 Mach 1 Mustang and was trying to find out the history of this old car.The registration # 0828712 is on sticker it also states Maine State Police 1980-81 on it. Answer: maybe vehicle history .com or something whats the real quesion. i do know that a state did use them for a while but was quickly phased out i beleive because mustangs suck. |

Taking a bunny to maine by car? Question: I live in New York and my family and i want to take a trip to Maine for a week. I know it takes 9 hours to get there. We tried finding someone to take care of our bunny but, no luck! We're running out of options and i was wondering if it was okay if we just brought our Thumper along? We would definetly take breaks during the ride to let him stretch his legs. Would he get car sick?
