We just paid to fix it. How do we do all this and get it ready to be legal to drive it from Ca to Idaho? Also what will she need to get a Idaho ID card with DL still in suspension when she gets to Idaho?

what a mess, sorry. Whomever is going to be driving the car is going to have to get it licensed somehow, in California. You can't take Idaho tags with you to CA for a car they haven't even seen in ID. When your daughter goes to DMV in Idaho, they are going to ask for her license from another state, and if she doesn't have it, they are going to communicate via computer on the spot with that other state so they will see that it is suspended. You could always call your local county courthouse motor vehicles dept. in Idaho to get their suggestions.

That's a tough one. You might check with Enterprise to se if they do something like that. Unfortunately U-Haul doesn't offer auto rental one way outher than a small truck.

When I was there we just did tons of stuff with friends. If you're dying to actually do stuff where you have to drive, Bear World is fun, the sand dunes are fun, there are TONS of outdoor recreational opportunities like hiking, biking, swimming, camping, etc. Plus, there is always stuff going on on campus. What kind of stuff did you do at home?

Try Castle Creek campground. Not too far from Grangeville on Hwy 14. But, really I would go farther north to Priest Lake or Coeur d'Alene or to the south to McCall.
