Is there an auto shop in Hawaii that tune cars for you?
Question:
I know little to nothing about tuning cars, so I was wondering if anybody in Hawaii knows if there's a shop where they tune and fix cars for you to make it faster?

Answer:
The best thing for you to do is ask your fellow co-workers, your neighbors and friends who they use first because word of month is the best advertisement around and good luck..

How do people in Hawaii bring their cars to the mainland?
Question:
I see a lot of cars with Hawaii plates.

Answer:
They make arrangements with a shipping company to bring the vehicles over. My brother took a vehicle from California to Hawaii and one from Hawaii to CA this way. The downside is that you can't put any of your personal stuff in the car at the same time!

are neons on cars illegal in hawaii?
Question:
i was just wondering because i plan on getting some on my car and i live in hawaii and i dont want to get pulled over by a cop. what color lights are illegal? blue? red? and where can i put the neon lights under my car? around my license plate? where it is not illegal.

Answer:
This is all that I could find but you could just call either the police department or the department of motor vehicles and ask them. Hawaii § 291-31.5 Blue lights prohibited for motor vehicles, motorcycles, motor scooters, bicycles, mopeds (a) No person shall knowingly operate, affix or cause to be affixed, display, or possess any lamp, reflector, or illumination device which appears to be the color blue upon any motor vehicle, motorcycle, motor scooter, bicycle, or moped except for: (1) county law enforcement vehicles authorized and approved by the chief of police of the county in which the vehicle is operated; or (2) department of public safety law enforcement vehicles authorized and approved by the director of public safety. This prohibition shall not apply to factory-installed instrument illumination. ( Any violation of this section shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $1,000, or by imprisonment not exceeding one year, or both.

What would happen if we used active volcanos for garbage shoots, melt whole cars, even burial services, hawaii?
Question:
My son says the volcano would explode. I say," return back to the earth what is hers". Think about it. Soon there will be no room on earth for graves. We have to clean up some time.

Answer:
For the most part, putting it in an active volcano mainly would just result in burning it and mixing the remains into the lava. The design behind an active volcano though is to kick out lava, not to pull back it into the earth. Any waste you throw into a volcano will eventually become part of the hardened lava bed around the volcano the next time the volcano kicks out lava. Actually, there is still plenty of room in the US and the world to dump garbage, the problem is more in urban areas like the US east coast where it has to be transported a long way first. A volcano is even further away.

How many cars can you sell per year in hawaii with out a dealers license??

Answer:

Hugs! Can Hawaii grow sugar cane like brazil to run ethanol flex cars? Do they have the same climate?
Question:
What's holding Hawaii back, is it big oil lobbyists, politicians? Why would Hawaii want to import oil when they can grow it locally? Did you know the federal government controls half the land in Hawaii? If it's technologically possible, are we just inept? Can it make enough fuel for its own consumption?

Answer:
Hawaii does grow sugar cane. What is holding this alternate fuel idea back is that the Brazilians have totally different engines and systems in their cars which allow them to burn more ethanol than our current car models do. Theirs are designed to burn 80% ethanol, ours 10%. It would take a major overhaul of our automobile industry and all our current cars would beecome obselete. From an expert in Brazil: "I’m an organic sugar cane farmer and ethanol expert in Brazil. And I think it is my duty to tell my American readers and friends that this comparison is not so simple or straightforward. This would be, indeed, comparing mangoes and apples." and... "Having a population that is 61% of the USA’s population, Brazil has a fleet of vehicles that is only 12% of the total American fleet. And a gasoline consumption that is only 2.9% (yes, this is really less than 3%!) of USA’s gasoline consumption." http://www.energybulletin.net/21064.html
