MTA doesn't seem to be an option. Any ideas? Answer: These are the most prominent option to go from Studio City to Simi Valley: 1. You can use Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains or Metrolink Ventura County service from several stations close to Studio City. Depending on your location in Studio City, you have LA Untion Station, Glendale, Downtown Burbank (not Amtrak), Burbank Bob Hope Airport, Van Nuys, Northridge (not Amtrak), and Chatsworth as possible connecting stations. From Simi Valley Station take Simi Valley Transit Bus Route A, B or C to get to the library. 2. Reaching Chatsworth station, you can take Simi Valley Transit Bus Route C to get to the library. This bus runs every about 70 minutes. |

How much would it cost to get a bus from Murrietta, CA, to Simi Valley, CA? Question: My best friend lives in Murrietta, California and I haven't seen her in three years. Answer: The trip would require a few transfers. The quickest option would be to take an RTA (Riverside transit Authority) bus #206 to Corona from Murrietta (bus Picks up at Wal-Mart in Murrietta) once at Corona Metrolink take a train to LA Union Station and another Metrolink Train from LA Union Station to Simi Valley. You could also use buses to make the entire trip but it would require many transfers, so planning your trip around the Metrolink Trains would save a lot of time. Good Luck! |

Hiking spots near 118 Fwy (Simi Valley Area)? Question: ... whenever I drive the 118 freeway from Topanga Canyon into Agoura Hills, I am captivated by the rocky hills beside the freeway which are now turning a lush green after the rain. For years I have thought: I wish I could just climb out of my car from the middle of the freeway and just start hiking up those mountains! ... You can imagine why I haven't tried this. How on Earth do I access these hills? I know there must be a way to get out there. I've driven the Santa Susana Pass, but either I wasn't paying attenion or I didn't see a way to get to them from there. Question: does anyone know how I can explore around those beautiful mountains surrounding the 118 fwy near Simi Valley? I'd love to hike around there... is there an alternate way to go to north hollywood from simi valley by public transport? Question: from simi, north hollywood is just 25 miles and takes about 30 mins by car. I was thinking to use a public transport. but it will first take 45 mins to reach LA by metrolink and then 40 mins from union station to north hollywood station by metro red line which makes it a looooong route. is there an alternate way I am not aware of ? thanks ... could u pls let me know an approximate time as well compared to this long route Answer: yes you can take simi valley route c to chatsworth metrolink station then you can change to 245 or 244 bus taking this bus to warner center then orange line to north Hollywood also note that sometime later this year' the orange line will direct from chatsworth to north Hollywood |
