I will get my car dealer license. My quetion, is it possible to sell cars without a car lot in Santa Ana, CA?
Question:
Once I get my car dealer license, is it possible to sell cars without a car lot in Santa Ana, CA. Yes or no, please advise.

Answer:
When you apply for your dealers license the state will tell you what you can and can't do. In most states there are several different levels of car dealer license. The lowest level is a wholesale dealers license. This allows you access to the auto auctions but you can only buy and sell to other dealers or at the auction. You are forbidden to sell cars directly to consumers. You cannot run a car dealership out of a residential address. (Or any business for that matter) That is illegal in all 50 states. A retail dealers license gives you legal rights to sell to the public and all retail dealers must have a physical location (a car lot) in order to conduct business legally. Used car dealers are one of the highest regulated businesses in the state. There are way to many complaints about bad dealers so the state has many rules and regulations that dealers are required to follow if they want to go into business.

Santa Ana faces calls to stop impounding illegals cars are latinos all expected to support illegals or racist?
Question:
SANTA ANA – The question of how Latino this city's identity is, or should be, keeps cropping up, creating a bit of a minefield for the all-Latino City Council. One area of contention has been the city's downtown shopping district, on East Fourth Street, where some Latino merchants have complained they feel they are being pushed out in a gentrification move. The removal of a merry-go-round that had attracted Latino families to the Fiesta Marketplace plaza at Fourth and Spurgeon streets has symbolized what some see as an agenda to make the downtown more appealing to people of other ethnicities. This week the City Council found itself attacked on a different front. Activists on behalf of undocumented immigrants want Santa Ana to stop impounding the cars of unlicensed drivers who are caught in DUI checkpoints. A parade of speakers during the public comment period of Monday's meeting asked the City Council to follow Los Angeles, where police recently adopted a policy aimed at impounding fewer vehicles from unlicensed drivers. The issue is a complex one, sitting in the nexus of federal immigration enforcement, the California vehicle code, and city police practice. Santa Ana Police Chief Paul Walters said his department has already been doing what Los Angeles police recently started, which is to allow unlicensed drivers to call a licensed driver to come and drive their vehicle away, avoiding an impound and the onerous fees associated with it. Such calls are made at the discretion of the officers at the scene, in cases where they determine that the unlicensed motorist has an otherwise clean record, Walters said. The activists want to eliminate that discretion. They want the city to adopt an ordinance that would require officers to give sober, unlicensed drivers an opportunity to call a licensed driver, said Carlos Perea, a Santa Ana College student who spoke during public comments on Monday. "You could have done this years ago," Perea, 19, told the council members. "You're a Latino City Council ... It's so simple. Why haven't you done it?" Other speakers also attempted to appeal to the council members on grounds of ethnic solidarity. "All of you are Latino on the City Council, and you should support the common man," said one man, speaking in Spanish. http://www.ocregister.com/news/city-298990-council-lati no.html

Answer:
Doesn't "ethnic solidarity" equate to special favors? Isn't that supposed to be illegal? I have a better idea. Let's deport them.

Question:
How do i get from Santa ana, California to murrieta, California? Can i take a bus and which bus can i take? I am 15 and i dont have any ways to get there by means of a car, is it possible to take a shuttle bus? Please help

Answer:
You have 2 options: 1. Metrolink Inland Empire-Orange County (IEOC) Line (www.metrolinktrains.com) 2. OCTA bus 757 or 758 Both of these will take you to Riverside, and then you'll have to take a local RTA bus to Murrieta.

I'm planning to rent a car at Santa Ana airport, CA,could someone give me advice where to get the best deal.

Answer:
Priceline.com - hands down. Start out by going to all the other sites and figure out what the going rate is for the type of car you want to rent: Compact, luxury, SUV, etc. Then bid on Priceline for about half of what is being shown on the other sites. In about 5 minutes you'll figure out if they accepted your price. If not, raise it by 10 or 20% and try again. This is the only way I rent a car now - I save soooo much money.

Can a 1997 Accord V6 make it from Stockton, CA to Santa Ana, CA without any problems?
Question:
The car has 190k miles and the trip is appox. 353 miles.

Answer:
If your car is running without problems I wouldn't be worried. My 1997 Prelude has 180k miles on it and I drive it all over the state of Florida without a problem. All cars crap out eventually but normally they start having problems before they entirely die. It wouldn't hurt to get a tune-up before you leave; change the oil, replace spark plugs and wires things like that.

where is a good place to park cheap when traveling with the John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, CA?
Question:
my mother is traveling to the airport and would need first of all a bus or train or car to take her to the airport from Ridgecrest, CA to Santa Ana, CA. But all the cars we found cost about $300, so that's no good. Instead, she can get herself there, but the parking at the airport is between $14 and $17 a day, and she'll be gone for 9 days!. where is a good, very cheap place to park in or around town with a free or cheap shuttle/bus to the airport? i understand there are closer airports, but i did my looking around for a while and i got the cheapest ticket out of all the airports i searched. from ONT or Burbank or Bakersfield, the tickets are around $100-$300 more expensive than the one i found for $300 from SNA to BNA ( nashville, tn ) its already paid for and taken care of, so i wasnt asking a for a closer port, i was asking for parking advice. thanks!

Answer:

Beaumont, CA to Santa Ana John Wayne Airport?
Question:
How long should I allow to drive from Beaumont, CA to Santa Ana John Wayne Airport, on a Friday morning? The flight leaves at 11, so I know I have to be there by like 9:30 -- earlier if I have to return a rental car. Should I plan on like 2 hours? I don't want to miss my flight! Thanks for your help.

Answer:
I would seriously leave at 6:30. The traffic through Riverside, the 55, and the 57 can be crazy. The 91 should be avoided, if possible. There's a reason they call it the Corona Crawl.

What's the best way to get from John Wayne Airport (Santa Ana/Orange County) to Carlsbad?
Question:
I'm flying into John Wayne Airport and need to get to my hotel in Carlsbad next week... the hotel doesn't provide a shuttle and a taxi is apparently $200. I don't want to rent a car so am wondering what the cheapest way to get from the airport to Carlsbad is?

Answer:
Carlsbad is about 60miles from the OC airport. You can take the train, but it will take ALL day. It takes about an hour to get to the train station from the airport using public transportation (the bus). I would guess a taxi would be more like $130-150 (including tip). This is based on the airport being about 60 miles from Carlsbad. My house is about 25 and it's about $60 with a very generous tip. Super Shuttle or one of the other airport shuttles. My guess is you will be happiest renting a car. Carlsbad is pretty small town and I bet you would want the car just to get around down there.

where is the Santa Ana (SNA), Ca in relivance to Fontana CA. How far would a car trip be?

Answer:
47 miles --- 50 minutes or so
