Where is there a classic car mechanic near Rancho Cucamonga, California?
Question:
My house is full of classic cars and my father is not a great mechanic. These cars have a lot of potential, but first I want them to run perfect without problems for awhile. Basically new organs which requires a lot of experience, skills and knowledge. Does anyone know a great, trustworthy classic car mechanic/restorer near Rancho Cucamonga?

Answer:
Most of the classic car repair people concentrate on one type of car - fords or chevy or vw or whatever, not all of them. - Larry's Thunderbird and Mustage Parts in Corona might be a place to get you started www.larrystbird.com You will find the right people by hanging out in the right places = classic car shows

Is there a race track you may drive your car on near Rancho Cucamonga, California?
Question:
I just wanted to drive my brothers car around a track going as fast as possible... 07 Subaru STI, 380 HP to the wheels, 32 pounds of torque, 0 -100 in 3 seconds flat, sounds kind of fun... by the way, I've never seen how it works, but he has NoS in his car, would it be noticeable on a track?

Answer:
The tracks closest to you would be: California Speedway, Willow Springs, Buttonwillow, and Spring Mountain. While California Speedway is the closest, it is probably also the least desirable. The infield course does get a fair amount of use by clubs for open track/driver ed events, but the rate of incidents here has proven to be quite high compared to other tracks (an off track excursion here is likely to end with an impact against concrete, while many others will end with spinning to a stop amidsst an empty patch of dirt). Willow Springs would be next, and the complex features two tracks. The Streets Of Willow Springs is a smaller track and though more technical, it may be better suited for a beginner due to the lower overall speeds and the required focus on getting the driving right (back to that in a moment). The main track here is great, and is the fastest in the western US (a good driver should easily top out in top gear by the end of the front straight). However, the decreasing radius entry to the front straight is very fast and the one spot where something bad could happen, and probably something better done after some experience is gained. Buttonwillow is a little further north near Fresno. There tend to be quite a few events here, and this is a track that is ideal for a beginner. It has a good variety of elements and not much to hit. A little further away is Spring Mountain, near the Nevada border and Death Valley. This track has been much upgraded and expanded in recent years. Though, with their current standing as a "Motorsports Country Club" or something like that, I am not sure what the track's availability is to non-members... and while their is nothing to hit off track here, it is much rockier than most and likely to result in a good deal more paint damage if you get four wheels off. Now, the car is probably well suited to the track, but the REAL things that make a car fast at the track tend to be tires, suspension, and brakes. Simply adding power will tend to over stress the others meaning that if you are driving anywhere near the car's limits, you'll quickly run out of the others. The other problem is a car with that much power to the wheels (and I think you meant more than 32 pounds of torque?) will be alot of a beginner to handle, but as long as your brother is aware of this, it shouldn't be a big problem (the faster the car, the easier it is to drive way beyond a novice driver's limits). If it is equipped with NoS, yes, it would be noticeable - but not of that much use as getting the exit right at a corner would have a bigger impact... and upgrading to better tires would have an even larger impact (and also help with things like braking). And, for a novice, worrying about when to use this, and then actually doing it, would probably be too much of a distraction (as simply keeping track of what's going on on track, and then trying to keep up with flags from corner workers, etc, can be overwhelming enough).

Where can you race your own car on a track near Rancho Cucamonga, California?

Answer:
could take it to pomona speed way for drag.... could call n.a.s.a. for track events.... contact scca for auto cross events.... and nitrous would diffenitly show improvement for a drag race, but your motor wont last too long with using it....

i want to go to anaheim without using a car but by using omnitrans/metro or something similar?
Question:
i live in rancho cucamonga i live in rancho cucamonga, not going to disneyland. club ice.

Answer:
Here sweetie - Use this: http://www.metrolinktrains.com/stations/detail.php?id=118 My husband works for Disney and a lot of his coworkers live out by you and take the Link. You might need to catch a cab or take your bike to ride the mile to and from your house to the station or from the Anaheim station to wherever you're going. But it's pretty easy and fairly cheap. Good luck!

What do you think Deported Criminal Illegal Immigrant Murders Baby?
Question:
In the latest example of the government’s failure to protect the nation from criminal illegal aliens, a man responsible for the atrocious murder of a California infant has turned out to be a drug-addicted illegal immigrant deported after a felony conviction. Somehow the violent criminal, Juan Sanchez, sneaked back into the U.S. and lived under the radar in the southern California community of Rancho Cucamonga about 50 miles from Los Angeles. He recently beat his girlfriend’s 8-month-old son to death after the infant’s nose was “mistakenly” wiped with the methamphetamine-laced cotton swab Sanchez used to clean his pipe. Fearful that he would be sent to prison, Sanchez forbade his girlfriend from seeking medical care when the baby became sick from the drug exposure. For three days the barbaric convict tried to get the infant “off the high” by shaking him, slapping him and tying him to a bed. When the baby was finally hospitalized, he had a skull fracture, bleeding in the brain, detached retinas and a broken arm. The mother and Sanchez have been charged with the infant’s horrific murder. A sad component to this depressing story is that Sanchez should not have even been in the U.S. because in 2001 he was convicted of robbery and deported. He crossed the border illegally and authorities had no idea of his whereabouts until he committed this heinous crime. Just last month a previously deported Mexican man with a criminal record killed an entire family when he crashed his car into theirs on a Houston freeway. The illegal alien (Juan Felix Salinas) had been deported two years ago and was free on bond in a criminal case yet was allowed to remain in the country. He had a blood alcohol level three times the Texas legal limit when he murdered the family. http://www.corruptionchronicles.com/2007/09/deported_cri minal_illegal_immi.html

Answer:
And they only come to get a better life...oh yeah, right. We need to fully secure the border. Deport the illegal aliens, but first add them to a DNA-data base as well as the fingerprint data-base. Then, if any try to come back in legally, deny them. So much for their values. These incidents are not isolated but occur on a daily basis. Less than 3.5 % of Americans are incarcerated for felonies. Illegal aliens are incarcerated at much higher percentages. It is a total travesty than any illegal alien could return after deportation to commit further crimes and one of the worst ways the government is failing to serve the people.

I needa know about this salvage car!?
Question:
http://autos.yahoo.com/used-cars/infiniti-g35-cars304620376;_ylt= AjslCNODbAzUAwZXctf.Sdk_WY54;_ylv=3?bodystyle=coupe&sortcol=price &sortdir=up&modelyearub=2007&modelyearlb=2005&askpriceub=30000&as kpricelb=any&deliverymileageub=50000&deliverymileagelb=any&locati on=Rancho+Cucamonga%2C+CA&listingtype=used&model=g35&make=infinit i&distance=50 It states in the info Extras sports package which includes Blue Tooth capabilities and Smart Key feature, SUN ROOF, PREMIUM LEATHER SEATS, tinted windows, CUSTOM 19" RIMS, premium BOSE SOUND SYSTEM, low-profile premium tires, HOME-LINK REAR VIEW MIRROR, regularly maintained, SPOILER, ONLY 24k miles. Salvaged Title Car in great shape and good running condition had minor right side fender and door damage. But i called him he says its now 31k miles is this a good price for the car is the salavge a bad idea to bet on?!

Answer:
personally I would be skeptical about anything with a salvage title, salvage titles are issued after a vehicle has been damaged to a point that it would exceed the value of the vehicle to repair it, "minor right side fender and door damage" to a vehicle like this is far from enough to total it so that right there tells me that the seller is hiding something any way and probably hiding a load of problems that this car has or is going to have, more than likely this is going to be a problem car from the word go. I hate to be the barer of bad news but I would continue to hunt for a vehicle and pass this one up

Should i go to UTI(universal techincal institute)?
Question:
There was a presentation in our HIgh school & we actually had a field trip to the Campus in Los Angeles( Rancho Cucamonga). It looked very promising, i dont know much about cars but one thing they did have was Collision Repair which i was interested in. But i have done some reading around the internet & have seen some terrible reviews from that school, im going into my senior year of high school and im not sure what i wanna do other than UTI. Any other opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading!

If you feel that's what you wanna do go for it...Just because you hear bad stuff about it; meaning: who ever so think its bad; they cant handle it. You got to prove you can be better at it.

Uti, automotive technician job?
Question:
Ok well I love cars n I want to be an automotive technician for BMW and I was thinking of going to uti in rancho cucamonga is it a school worth going to? Is BMW a good paying company?

Answer:
If that's what you want to do, then go for it. It's a perfectly good school for what you're hoping to do, and if you're good at the work, you'll probably find a job. In terms of how well BMW pays you, Compensation is one of the company's highest scores. I'm not sure what sort of salary you're looking for, but I can tell you that automotive technicians generally earn between $43,000 and $45,000 per year ($20-$22 per hour).
