What would be ways of public transportation from San Mateo, CA to California State University East Bay Campus?

I am going to be moving there for a while and live with my aunt. She is in San Mateo. I don't think I would have a car and the MORE convenient way around would be by public transportation. Does anyone know if this is do-able all the way through, by public transportation from San Mateo to California State University - East Bay (which is in Hayward)?

Answer:
No, it is not possible. It would take a couple of hours of switching around different types of transportation to get there. You need a car if you are going to do that. San Mateo is on the opposite side of San Francisco bay and the traffic is heavy and you have to cross a toll bridge. If you are staying in San Mateo you might consider San Francisco State instead of Cal State East Bay, which has no reputation anyway.

How much does impounding a car cost?

I live in Hayward, California and the impound is around Oakland, California which is around 12 miles from my home. The reason why the car is impounded is because the car was stolen and the cop found the car in the streets of Oakland (Not suprising because Oakland is filled with hoodrats and drug addicts). How much will the cost of getting the car out of the impound? Thanks

In Little Rock,it's $150 + 25 per day of storage,but in the case of a stolen car{if reported before impound} ur local cops should retrieve it 4 u.

There is some in Hayward but you should get over your fear of driving to live there. PT is too unreliable as far as getting you to your destination in a timely fashion. Nearly everyone drives in Ca.The west is nothing like N.Y. City.It is all spread out and there is lots to do. If you want to get out and do stuff you have to get a car or you will be a pain to all your friends always begging for rides.

What is the best way to travel from Hayward to Sausalito arts festival. I was thinking drive up at 7:00 am monday morning in our car to beat traffic how smooth do you think this would go? Also will there be tickets for the Mondays concerts starting at 11:00 am when tickets are available at the gate saturday 5th, sunday 6th and the day of the concert the 7th?

Cross the San Mateo Bridge, head-up either 101 to 380 to 280, or continue up 92 to 280 north, and follow the sign for the Golden Gate Bridge (19th Ave). Remember not to use the Bay Bridge. The total time should be about 60-70mins. There will be traffic issues because of the Bay Bridge closure, but shouldn't be too bad until the Golden Gate Bridge and Sausalito itself; maybe a little bit on 19th Ave.

I like the sedan, but I think this'll depend on what you do & how you intend to use it. Think about that, & see if having only 2 seats would be practical. If it is, then the coupe. If not, sedan.

I got a citation ticket from a Park Ranger Control in California. Do I have to go to court?

I am only 15 1/2 years old and I was with my cousin who is 21 and his friend, they were smoking marijuana at the park. We went into our car, then we were posting in the parking lot for a little bit until the park ranger control came, they smelled marijuana, and then wrote us a citation ticket for smoking in the park, they didnt have proof of us smoking but we definitely smelled like marijuana. The fine on the ticket is how much the ticket costs. If is says you can mail it in then guess what - you can mail it in. The ticket should tell you the charge that comes with pleading guilty and paying the fine. Use the Internet to look up the office that issued the ticket and the charge number like "hayward ca park ticket charge" Good to not do it again because when done in a Federal Park it becomes a Federal charge.
