How come you don't see classic cars anymore?

I live in Glendale California, where 100k cars are common. Amg's, bently's, m6's you name it, we have it. The thing i want to ask is where are the Camaro's or the Chevelle's or any other classic cars??!

oh there out there you just have to find them. ive got a 2006 f150 my wife pontiac sunfire. but in my garage i have a 1981 corvette. it only has 68,000 original miles on it. what i have learned about it is the more you drive it and put miles on it the more the value goes down. i love that car and its my favorite body style of all time , i feel like im driving the bat mobile, i believe chevy hit the nail dead on the head with this one. but like i said i rarely drive it and their are some times that i dont know why i have it. the only time i take it out is to lil get togethers at the sonic or the burger basket. but when i get to those shows its all worth it. people who own classic cars usually are not their daily drivers.

Im goin 2 school @ Glendale community college California. soon.Im movin w/ a trailor n lookin 4 a nice area 2 live either on a very safe senic trailor park or most likely I'll rent a room.Im a massage therapist and won't get a job untill i move 2 Cali. but I need to be close to this school or @ least another community college close to LA. I want to go to college for general studies, presue acting while practicing massge. I love the outdoors, (hikin,mts,parks,ocean) Is there any areas that are chill around LA that provides good music and fun, art, nice people, spas (4 work), good food and thats affordable? I'll have a car, about 5,000 bucks, and no job. I could afford the most 600$+utilities a month even if its just a room.I'd travel 40mins w/ traffic the most to a community college near LA. Good luck in community college; make sure to take English classes; your spelling and grammar need a little work. You won't be able to afford to rent an apartment for your budget but you should be able to find a roommate situation. If you are going to Glendale Com College they have lots of bulletin boards of people looking for roommate situations that should be of use to you. Always helps to live with a student to help you stay focused on school work. Glendale is a nice area. Pasadena, Altadena, Arcadia (west end of San Gabriel Valley) is nearby and very close to San Gabriel Mts. with great hiking close by. You might want to try Craigslist or local papers as well as campus to find roommate situation. Good luck.

Glendale, California DUI?
Question:
I was pulled over for tossing a cigarette out of a window on halloween. Cop was part of a task force in Glendale, CA to bust DUI's. I just pulled into a gas station I admit I did not signal and did toss a cigarrette out the window. First I was asked if I had been drinking I said yes at dinner. Followed by being accused of smoking marijuana over and over and over again, even after being handcuffed. Cop said my tongue was green. After about 30 minute FST I submitted to breathalyzer and blew .082. This was about 45 min after dinner. THen taken down for blood test. I do not know those results yet. The cop constantly berrated me for questions and explanations for my behavior. For example he asked me to stand with my feet together and hands at my side. Instinctively to be comfortable I put my hands in my pockets and spread my feet a few inches. After doing the 9 step straight line test I spined on my feet and walked back, which he said he believed I did not do as he said which was to take small steps in turning. yes I was legally drunk when he did breathalyzer according to it, I do not know when he pulled he pulled up behind more in the gas station or when I got the blood test. Friend was in car with me, she can testify to how they treated me. Documentation also proves how distracted they where. They were so busy staring at her that they put her birthdate down on the DMV form rather then mine. First question what are my options? Second question do the cops have right to belittle and do everything they can to try to scare a confession out of a person like this? I have long hair, and used to have bad teeth so have been accused atleast dozen times in past 10 years of being a drug addict, drunk etc.. even with no drinks or any other substance in my system. One cop told me I exhibited being under influence (I get nervous now around cops), other admited way I look is reason. Both of these never charged me. I have almost accepted I am persecuted for how I look, but still makes me nervous. This is my first DUI.

Regarding the cops, you´ll find many cops in differnt towns that have a bad attitude, if they want they can nitpick until they charge you for something. Just stay calm and let them do their thing until they make sure you are not into drugs or drunk or doing anything else illegal. Your appearance can also be a cause of all that trouble, maybe you can work on it if you don´t want to be hasseled all the time.

After College Moving to California from Ohio?

After college I want to move to Glendale, California. I plan on getting Internships at Channel 7. And hopefully I will have a Job in line for me in the future. How should I go about doing this Moving Task? I don't wanna drive although I want all my belongings moved out of my parents home and my car transported to California. How do I plan this Big Move? I'm already working and saving money. And I plan to spend the Summer there to get to know the place a little better...Is Glendale a good place to live or Orange County? How far is Orange County from LA?

Glendale is about 35 minutes Northwest of Los Angeles -- it has become a heavily Armenian conclave (which means you can get great food there but it can be hard to understand people if you don't speak Armenian). It is a pretty nice area. It is 1-1/2 hours from Orange County with medium traffic. I think ABC 7 is in the Disney facility in Burbank, which is next to Glendale. If you will be working there you will not be able to do the long haul to Orange County unless you are nuts. It will cost you around $3,000 or so to move your car and stuff here. It may be easier and cheaper for you to just sell your car and stuff and buy new ones here. Also, keep in mind you are moving to the most heavily taxed area in the USA. You need to add 15% or more to your estimates of costs to cover the taxes. It is ironic: Most people want to leave California and you want to come here. But I wish you the best of luck.
