How is Flagstaff or Prescott Arizona like?
Question:
Hi I am actually from Brooklyn New York and currently I live in North Phoenix. I missed the great food in New York and the excellent transportation system there and the fact that you can walk to anywhere without a car. I have now been in Arizona for 3 years now. I hate the very very hot summers here. I wanted to know how is it in Flagstaff and Prescott as compared to Phoenix. Is any of them similar to Brooklyn New York. How is the weather in Flagstaff and Prescott. I hate the cold weather as well including shoveling snow. I love cities where there is a lot of shopping and great food and everything is within walking distance. Please give me all the details. Thanks. My email is romeo605phx@yahoo.com

Answer:
I grew up in the Phoenix area and then moved to Flagstaff, I've lived up here for 8 years now. Flagstaff gets a decent (nothing like New York) amount of snow and cold. Prescott is a happy medium as far as climates and weather go. There's not tons of shopping up here in Flagstaff, the population not including the NAU students is about 35000. It's not a big city by any means. There's also more shopping down in Prescott for chain stores. Flagstaff has a neat historic downtown area that is packed with little shops and diners. I'd say Prescott would be a better option for you. Might be too cold and too much snow with not too much shopping. There are tons of little restaurants up here but it's fairly small. Good luck with your move.

How does my friend get a new free car every year and then sells it back for the same price?
Question:
My friends dad made some deal with automobile companies, such as ford, lincoln, and gmc in Prescott, Arizona. He buys a car from the company, then uses it for a year, and then sells it back for the same exact price a year later. He then gets a new car. My 17 year old friend said this depreciates the value so the auto company ends up making money off of it because they pay less tax. I am extremely confused and my friend said his dad would be mad if he told me. Like my friend has a mustang gt and in 2 months hes just getting a brand new gmc car. I was wondering if anybody could do this or not. He said his dad made some special deal a while ago.

Answer:
Your friend is full of Bull droppings!!!

Lincoln Continental: serial #1LNHM97V6XY637401 service records.?
Question:
Car was originally purchased in Prescott, Arizona (Sunland L/M), by Lovett Enterprises...

Answer:
You probably won't find any service records for the car.. The local Ford dealer can pull what the car had done under warranty but the car is 8 years old and no one is going to have maintaince/service records on that car except the previous owners (probably went to 4 or 5 different shops like most cars and people)

I'm going to camp-any advice?
Question:
Small Details:I am going to a church camp in Prescott, Arizona for 6 days. It is about a 10 hour drive from where I am in Utah. Car ride: There is a car full of girls and a car full of guys, all from my church. But half of the girls hate me and think they are better than everyone else-what should I do to be nice without trying too hard? My neighbor/friend Rachel is also going. Any fun things to do when you're trapped in the car? Electronics: I don't get to have my cell phone or iPod at camp because they think it will limit our learning and we will get distracted by electronics, but I can have them on the car ride over. Food: We will be stopping twice along the way to eat. What are some good restaurants that you would suggest for road trip food? Housing: The camp isn't outdoors, they are in cabins that look like log cabins on the outside and look like condos on the inside. There are 4 rooms, 2 girls to a room, and each room has their own bathroom. Any advice on what toiletries to bring? Activities: These are fun, I don't need help with this one. :D My hair: It is brunette at the roots, caramel-y in the middle, and white blond on the ends (never been dyed). It is waist length and naturally straight but it almost always wavy and gets tangled sooooooooooo easily. Any advice on hair care products that work for hair like that? Please help if you have ever been through this situation and you know what to do! Even if you can help in only one category, all advice is greatly appreciated! ;]

Answer:
For the car ride bring along sweets and share them out to all the girls...that way mabye they will start to like you. Also announce ok i feel like some of you have a problem with me and if you do can you please tell me so i can change yooh know. Take pics. Text the boys and see how they are doing. Buy like a trick kit with itching powder and stuff and you and all the girls can talk about evil plans for the boys. Listen to music. Bring a pillow for if you wanna sleep. Make sure you have a sock or somthing for your phone so it doesnt get scratched. And make sure your name is written on them so they dont get stollen. Nandos Mcdonalds Kfc just little cafes would be good tbh. But cheapies are fast food places like Mcdonalds and Kfc Nandos is quite exspensive. L'oreal is good with shampoos and head and sholders. But i wouldnt leave your hair down because it would get more tangly. Out it up in a pony or bun. Or you can simply cut it before you go, under your boobs because that is the sexy cut with layers so when its in a pony or bun it has layers..its vair sexy. Take a camera and ask not to take it so you can take pics! Hope this helps babe have a great time x

please help im desperate!?

Answer:
These are good! There is one law here in the UK that is little known but absolutely true .......... dated back to the 1600's - when (in my opinion they had things very much better)! A woman shall only have to put up with a new husband as an unsatisfactory lover for 363 days before she has every right to put in in the public stocks for humilation and scorn to be heaped upon him! There are many names that have been recorded so 'it' has been going on for years! And what is the betting that it was a man the repealed that law? Probably just about 300 or so days after he was married!

Phoenix is a beautiful city with a lot to do. Arizona has many beautiful places to travel to by car such as the Grand Canyon, the White Mountains, Sedona, Prescott, and many other places. Me encanta Arizona. Lo unico que la hace falta es la playa. Arizona se parece mucho a California. (Note: some things are not literally translated, so use this if proper and natural sounding Spanish is the important thing, more than a literal translation). BTW, I live in Phoenix too... you didn't mention how cool the people (me included) are ! LOL

Why is Team Obama in 'Panic Mode' as Hearing Nears on Failed Anti-Gun Trafficking Program?
Question:
Officials at the Department of Justice are in "panic mode," according to multiple sources, as word spreads that congressional testimony next week will paint a bleak and humiliating picture of Operation Fast and Furious, the botched undercover operation that left a trail of blood from Mexico to Washington, D.C. The operation was supposed to stem the flow of weapons from the U.S. to Mexico by allowing so-called straw buyers to purchase guns legally in the U.S. and later sell them in Mexico, usually to drug cartels. Instead, ATF documents show that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms knowingly and deliberately flooded Mexico with assault rifles. Their intent was to expose the entire smuggling organization, from top to bottom, but the operation spun out of control and supervisors refused pleas from field agents to stop it. Only after Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry died did ATF Agent John Dodson blow the whistle and expose the scandal. "What people don't understand is how long we will be dealing with this," Dodson told Fox News back in March. "Those guns are gone. You can't just give the order and get them back. There is no telling how many crimes will be committed before we retrieve them." But now the casualties are coming in. Mexican officials estimate 150 of their people have been shot by Fast and Furious guns. Police have recovered roughly 700 guns at crime scenes, 250 in the U.S. and the rest in Mexico, including five AK-47s found at a cartel warehouse in Juarez last month. A high-powered sniper rifle was used to shoot down a Mexican military helicopter. Two other Romanian-made AK-47s were found in a shoot-out that left 11 dead in the state of Jalisco three weeks ago. The guns were traced to the Lone Wolf Gun Store in Glendale, Ariz., and were sold only after the store employees were told to do so by the ATF. It is illegal to buy a gun for anyone but yourself. However, ATF's own documents show it allowed just 15 men to buy 1,725 guns, and 1,318 of those were after the purchasers officially became targets of investigation. Arizona gun store owners say they were explicitly told by the ATF to sell the guns, sometimes 20, 30, even up to 40 in a single day to single person. And those orders, from at least one ATF case agent, are on audio recording. "We would say, 'Do you (the ATF) want us to stop selling, is there something we should do here?'" Brad DeSayes, owner of J&G Gun Sales in Prescott, said. "And they would say, 'No, no, no, keep selling - just tell us after the fact.'" Rep. Darrell Issa, chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, holds a hearing Wednesday into Operation Fast and Furious. The hearing is billed as "Reckless Decisions, Tragic Outcomes," and the following are among the details expected in testimony: - The ATF allowed and encouraged five Arizona gun store owners to sell some 1,800 weapons to buyers known to them as gun smugglers. - It installed cameras inside the gun stores to record purchases made by those smugglers. - It hid GPS trackers inside gun stocks and watched the weapons go south on computer screens. - It obtained surveillance video from parking lots and helicopters showing straw buyers transferring their guns from one car to another. - It learned guns sold in Phoenix were recovered only when Mexico police requested "trace data," which is obtained from their serial number. http://www.myfoxla.com/dpp/news/national/foxnews/Justice-Offi cials-in-Panic-Mode-as-Hearing-Nears-on-Failed-AntiGun-Traffickin g-Program_46749284

Got an email from a lady wanting a Papillon pup...seems kind of odd?
Question:
This lady filled out my question form for a Papillon pup. She found my webiste and my site is not on any search engines or listed on dog sites, so to me that seems odd... When I emailed her I said that if she wanted a puppy right now that I could help her find a breeder, she said she could wait until my next litter. I really know nothing about this lady and I'm pretty sure she doesn't know me... I emailed her asking how she found my site, she said she just stumbled across it... Here's the form she filled out: 01 - First and Last Name = R****** F***** 02 - E-Mail = r*****@rebrontravel.com 03 - City & State = Prescott, A******* 04 - Are You Looking For a Papillon or Border Collie? = Papillon 05 - Male or Female? = Female 06 - What age? = Puppy (8-12 weeks) 07 - What are you planning to do with the puppy? = Family Pet 08 - What color do you prefer (Border Collie)? = 09 - What color do you prefer (Papillon)? = Red Sable, Sable, Lemon and White 10 - How Much Drive Do You Want In a Puppy? = Medium 11 - Do you own other dogs? What breeds and ages? = Just put down our 14 year old yellow lab. No other dogs in home. 12 - Do you Have Children? How Old? Have they been raised with Dogs? = No children in home. 13 - How many dogs have you previously owned? About them? = 4 Labs in the last 15 years. One was a career change guide dog from Guide Dogs for the Blind. Wonderful family pet. We loved her, and ust lost her at 14 years old. One Beagle 10 years ago, 1 Golden Retriever retired seeing eye dog, adopted at 8 years, died at 9.5 years. We have always rescued dogs or adopted from the Guide Dogs for the Blind. They make wonderful pets but we are ready for a smaller pup. We want to take it where ever we go. We are retired and travel in our RV and want a companion to love. 14 - Have you ever trained and put titles on dogs? = Not for show. I have trained all my pups on leash, potty training... 15 - Are you finacially prepared to properly care for a dog? = Yes. We have the means to take very good care of our pets. 16 - How much room do you have? Is it secured? = We have a 2.5 year old home we built in the Arizona mountains, it is very secure. We have 4 bedrooms, and lots of room for playing. We only walk our dogs on a leash and go potty outside. 17 - Where will the puppy be kept/housed? = Inside the house at all times, or with us in the car or RV. It will sleep in our bedroom in either a crate or on the bed, whichever it prefers. 18 - While you are away, who will care for the puppy? = We will always have the dog with us. If for some reason we are unable to take her with us, we have a close family friend who stays at our house when we are gone, he loves dogs and would take very good care of her for us. 19 - If you buy a show puppy, who will show it? You? Handler? = 20 - Why do you think you make a good dog owner? = My husband and I love animals, we have always had a dog in our lives, and are really missing the day to day interaction, walks, laughs, and love from an animal. I think good providing healthy food, a good vet and plenty of exercise, in a loving environment is what makes a good dog owner. 21 - Anything you would like to share about yourself? = We are willing to come pick up the dog. We want a smaller one if possible, would prefer medium length hair, not long long hair if possible. We do have one 15 year old cat who has been raised with 5 dogs, she thinks she is one. She adapts well to all animals we have brought into our home. She is the last in a long line of animals, we need some youth back in our house. 22 - Any questions you would like to ask me? = How much do you charge for puppies? When can they be spayed? Where are you located? So, does these just seem weird or is she just some lady wanting a pet...? Oh, some of it's stared out for personal reasons.. So, does these just seem weird or is she just some lady wanting a pet...? Oh, some of it's stared out for personal reasons.. What's odd about it is this is just some random lady who, to me, seems like she has her heart set on a puppy from someone she doesn't even know...

Answer:
She sounds great to me. If all her animals have lived to a good age, chances are she takes good care of them. Many people opt for a smaller dog when they get older (especially if they want to travel.) The fact that she is already thinking about spaying is a good indication that she is not some fly by night breeder. Assuming the information is correct, I would happily let her have one of my foster dogs. (She could have heard about you or your website somewhere....it wouldnt have to be through a search engine.)
