Do girls at Arizona state and Mesa community college date guys without cars or motorcycles? Question: If I dont have a car or motorcycle will girls at Arizona state or Mesa community college still want to date me? Answer: Well I've actually attended both, and I would have to say this has nothing to do with what school the girl is at. Girls will date you if you can't drive, but it is REALLY annoying. My boyfriend doesn't have a car. I am always having to drive him around everywhere! It'd be nice to not always be the one doing the pick up and driving for dates. But yes, if a girl really likes you then she will put up with you and date you. |

What is a good place in Mesa, Arizona to get my car looked at? Somewhere trustworthy and efficient, please.? Question: I have a Ford Escort, 2001. They don't make it anymore, but I'm looking to get one last major tune up, before it becomes a money pit. It has about 90 thousand miles. I know only how to change my oil, and my tires, so I don't want some place that's going to give me a hard time. It runs fine, right now, btw. I just want to make sure it continues to do so. Answer: find a a.s.e certified shop, also check with the (bbb) better business bureau |

what are some good used car dealerships in or near mesa arizona? Question: look for a cheap car that i can make low payments on for under 5,000 and will last for a while and will pass emissions testing Answer: your always better off at a larger dealership. they do more checks on the cars, tend to sell more reliable vehicle (as a whole). and will have more options for warranty. the only problem will be finding a reliable $5k car in general. the less you spend the more risks and problems you tend to have. as a whole japanese vehicles tend to have less problems and pass emissions easier, but domestics cars will be less money. i personally used to work for brown and brown, and would recommend going there as well as big two toyota or scott toyota. my brother and sister have both bought at superstition springs toyota w/ good luck. |

How hard is it to start fresh in a new state, Mesa or Phoenix, Arizona? I do not want to drive from Alabama.? Question: How much money would I need to take and can I get a rental car to be waiting on me if I take a bus or plane? Is Mesa a nice spot ot safe spot to move to? What about diversity in the area? I've researched a lot of this but would like to hear from people who have been there. I have family in Tucson but I hear Mesa is a better spot to move to. Answer: Mesa is fine, diversity is diverse as you are likely to get in AZ. All PHX area has more jobs, but Tucson is actually pretty good, (depends on your skill set), and decent rents, too. If you are moving to the PHX metro area, keep yourself available to move for the first few months (take a short lease, or go month to month), till you settle on a job, then you can move to the "right" side of town and get a longer lease. Not doing so can mean hour long (or longer) commutes, or much longer by transit. Prescott and Flag -- forget it unless you are independently wealthy! All they offer are service industry and tourism jobs, with rents high as all get out! |

Best place to buy cheap used cars....? Question: I am looking for a good running, cheap car in Mesa, Arizona. Where are the best dealerships or places to buy one. Thank you so much :) Answer: If you are in the market I would suggest checking out some used cars through a police or government auction. You could find a great deal on some pretty new cars. They run very well and it's more of a hassle free experience. Check out GovernmentAuctions.org for a huge list of cars; that is where I got my last ride from. |

Is Mesa, Arizona(especially the area around Mesa Community College) safe? Question: I am thinking about moving there and living in an apartment with a friend that is within walking distance of the college. I know that there is security on campus and that there is a sheriff station a few blocks from the campus, but before I decide for sure, I want to know if the police really do a good job keeping the crime low there? I just don't want to have to worry about my car being broken into/stolen, worry about being robbed or attacked by gang members and all that. Anyone living in Mesa or who has lived in Mesa that can tell me about it? Thank you so much for the incite. It is really hard for me to make the decision to move out there because I read some horror stories on www.apartmentratings.com about people getting their cars broken into/stolen and I was having mixed feelings. Answer: I lived in Mesa for many years, and found it very safe. Around the college are some nice Apts. and fun places. The hospital is also close, not much crime around there. Both my kids went to MCC. and loved it. |

1 way travel from Illinois to Arizona? Question: My brother is relocating from Springfield IL to Mesa Arizona. He has tried to book rental cars, vans etc but does not have debit or credit card. I have tried to book in my name with my credit card but no good. we have even looked at rvs but no go. amtrak does not allow pets. it looks lke flying might be only option but he has 2 small dogs he needs to bring with him. any advice? even looked shared rides but no go as well..thanks.. Answer: They won't take your credit card? What kind of shitty company were you dealing with that would have policies like that? I would check out other rental vehicle outfits- chances are there's someone in your family who can get one. You don't want to fly to relocate if you can help it, because the cost for all of his stuff will be astronomical. I used to work on ramp and well and would never subject any of my pets to flying in the belly- it's a little cruel. |
