Is there a bus line that goes from Phoenix, Az to Bullhead City, az? Question: I need to get to bullhead city either sunday or monday, and my car wont work for my family to come and pick me up, so I have no ride back to bullhead city. Is there a bus station that will pick me up in phoenix and drop me off in bullhead city? Or better yet, is there a light rail that will do that? Answer: Hey Misty, Have the folks call some of the casino's in Laughlin. I think that Harrah's is one that run FREE buses up to the casino's for day tripers from down here in the Phoenix area. I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to move from Bullhead City, AZ to Phoenix, AZ!? Question: I'm a 19 year old college kid. I've been fighting with the community college here since October of 2011, so I'm just now about to start my first classes since I graduated High School, even though they are just the odd freshman classes to teach you how to study and all that. It was the only thing I could take by the time the school let me accept my FAFSA through them. I just got my refund today. Talking to a few of the other students here, alot of kids have so many issues it's not even funny, so I've been trying to plan to move down to Phoenix since the New Year. Only issue is I was planning on using my refund to get down there and as a down on an apartment. With the school editing things my refund was only $218 which seriously isn't even enough to pay for the bus to get to school for the whole 8 weeks let alone the library if I have to type up a paper. Mom barely makes enough to cover the roof over our heads, let alone save up to move over the summer, and I've been trying to get a job since last June. I just need help here! I need to know the easiest way to move down there without a car. I need to know how to transfer schools (although I'm not even too sure where to go to school since I don't know what part of the Phoenix area we'll be living in). Hell I could use a list of places that will hire a kid with no work experience. So I can get to working over the summer, shape my schedule around that once fall hits and just try to better my life. I'm sick of living in a hotel room because we're getting nowhere here in Bullhead! Is there any way I can just wait it out here until the school I choose in Phoenix gives me my refund? Or would that be too late and I risk missing school? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Answer: Your refund will all depend on how much in loans, grants, and scholarships you get minus tuition and fees (and sometimes room and board if the college requires it), so I don't understand what you are trying to do or what you are expecting. Different schools charge a different amount in tuition, fees, etc. so the amount you get refunded will depend on if you have anything left. You may also have to pay more depending on the cost. Usually people move to their new college the weekend before classes start. By then, you would be able to see your statement of account and should have received any refunds/or pay the difference due. |

Very few lenders would give you a mortgage right now. Those that do will charge extra interest. Also, you'll have to pay a down-payment. This can be anything from 3%-10% of the value of the house. That's a fair amount of money. You'll be able to rent an apartment, though. |

my dad died and my sisters have decided who gets what how do i go about fighting this without many problems? Question: My dad died and I am not sure if there is a will or not. Supposedly there might have been a living trust. Does anyone know how to check if there is a living trust or not? Also my two sisters have been running the show since he has past and have told me that my dad has left me the junk cars that don't run. However they have not showed many any paperwork saying this. KINGMAN — Prosecutors are trying to hold a Bullhead City murder suspect without bond. Carlos Elisianio Gomez, 24, is charged with first-degree murder. He faces life in prison with or without parole after 25 years if convicted of the murder charge. Prosecutors have not decided whether to seek the death penalty against him. They have 60 days from arraignment to decide. Gomez was arraigned March 3. Gomez, originally from Guatemala, is charged with allegedly shooting Daniel Mares Lopez Feb. 17 while Lopez was walking on the street at Coronel and Coronado drives. Lopez died at a Bullhead City hospital from multiple gunshots wounds. Gomez was arrested the next day where he worked at a market on Hancock Road. Gomez allegedly shot Lopez, 39, for having an affair with Gomez’s 15-year-old girlfriend. In a hearing last week, Deputy Mohave County Attorney Jeremy Huss asked the judge to hold Gomez without bond. Gomez is currently being held in county jail on a $1.5 million bond. According to the county jail, he also has a border patrol hold for being an illegal immigrant. Huss called Gomez’s girlfriend to the stand and she testified how she told detectives that Gomez threatened Lopez’s life when he found out about the affair by intercepting a text message. She said she was in the car with her 6-month-old child when Gomez stopped, got out of the car and allegedly shot Lopez once in the head and twice more when he fell to the ground. Garmin and Magellan gps question. POI and un-paved roads? Question: I am now testing a garmin GPS. I love it, But ware the garmin is great on re-routing you away from different situations, the Magellan cant. Or can it? My questions are: Can you have poi displayed on garmins map screen like you can with the Magellan? While driveing around you have have magellan show gas stations, ATM's, or what ever you want displayed as a icon on the map as you are driveing. And in a new area that is a real help. Can you set the garmin to do the same? So far all i can see is you can do a local search around you and just get a list. But my Magellan sent me to a customers house and had me drive over a verry bad dirt and rockey road, and the garmin had a feature the let me select different options to avoid when giveing me directions like no tole road, no car pool lanes, and NO un-paved roads. The garmin was great with that. Does Magellan have a selecton feature one one of there other models that lets me avoid dirt/unpaved roads when it routs me? Can I set up different POI to always be displayed on any garmin models? I have learned the Magellan seems to be more accurate on it's cracking then the garmin. No jumping around. Question: i'm from los angeles .and my husband opened a car shop in Bullhead Arizona .this is a big change for me .the weather and the enviroment is just so different .i support him .and i love him dearly .he's already out in Arizona and i'm still here in L.A .I just don't think i could get use to that life style .its pure desert .and u could cook an egg if u thow it on the floor .no beaches no zoo no etc................. i went to visit him this past weekend and i don't know if i want to live out there .He's waiting for me and are 3 year old son .i'm a city girl .i don't think i can handle the change .it was 121 degrees this past weekend .and i was dieing . i didn't even enjoy the time that i spent over there because it was just so hot .i havent yet told him anything .what should i do Answer: If you love your husband you must go. He is making a sacrifice and trying to support his family. You need to make the sacrifice and support HIM. Who knows maybe after some time you will get use to it. They have AC in Arizona too.
