How much would a down payment be for a 2010 (SS) camaro?
Question:
I live in Avondale, Arizona and there are plenty of car dealer ship's around the area. im 17 but i make 2,000$ a month doing landscaping, my dad owns the company and makes about 120,00$ a year i asked to if i could pay for it but it would be under his name, does any one know a guesstimate?

Answer:
Zero if your dads credit is good, he doesn't have too much other debt and you don't pay thousands above sticker. Down payments are typically not needed for most good credit car loans bought at reasonable prices. (Not thousands above retail)

My wife and I are moving to Arizona and will be attending Midwestern University and ASU. Where to live?
Question:
We'd like to live halfway between the schools so our commute times would be about equal. We've looked at North Scottsdale around the 101, central Phoenix and Avondale. We are looking for a 2 bedroom place with a two-car garage (preferably a house or town-home). Our budget is around $1000/month for rent.

Answer:
Avondale is very far. I would try north phoenix as north scottsdale is very expensive. Also consider south tempe which is super close to asu but a little farther from Midwestern.

2 pit bulls need our help!?
Question:
My sister took in 2 pitbull mix puppies. They're about a year old now and she moved out into her own apartment that doesn't allow animals. She ended up just abandoning them at my DISABLED dad's house and he can't take care of them. They're destroying everything in the house and peeing on the floors and he can't keep up with them. He is an animal lover and doesn't want to see them put down, but we can't find anywhere else to take them. We've tried craigslist, asking around, and a few no kill shelters, but no luck. We live in Avondale Arizona and he doesn't have a car or anything. ( My mother just left him for another man and screwed him over big time! She even left behind 3 dogs and 2 cats so right now he's stuck with a total of 5 dogs and 2 cats.) Can anyone help us?? Please let me know. They're great dogs, very loving and playful. They're just going through the usual puppy phase of chewing and it's hard for him to walk so he has a hard time getting to the door on time to let them out to go potty. Plus he doesn't really have a big yard and doesn't have the strength to walk them. They do very well with other dogs and cats, and LOVE kids! They're really fun to play with and energetic. Please help me help them. Thank you and God bless!

Answer:
Ring animal control. Tell them the situation. For the sake of your dad, the dogs will have to go, one way or another.

Do-it-yourself Car Washes?
Question:
Does anyone know of any Do-it-yourself car washes in Phoenix, Arizona? As close to Avondale/Tolleson would be appreciated. I really just need a high pressured hose so I can clean under the hood of my car. But please let me know. :)

Answer:
Don't pressure wash your engine unless you know what your doing or you will have lots of problems, take it to a detail shop and it will be cheaper in the long run.

Ran a red light, what can I expect?
Question:
I ran a red light in Avondale/Phoenix, Arizona. The light was on a three-way stop, with the perpendicular lane coming off the freeway. Honestly I didn't see it, and no cops were around. I'm 17 with a license, but the car is under my dad's name. What's next? (My cousin in the passenger seat told me it was red as well and my uncle, who was following me in another car) Ed, I was looking at the ramp to see if any cars were coming from that direction, that's why I didn't see it. No cars in front.

Answer:
If there wasn't a camera, then you have nothing to worry about. Anyone can have an accident, it's called someone made a mistake, it's also being called human. If there was a camera you will receive a notice in in the mail and let me tell you, the pictures are better then if a professional photographer took them. (Sources) personal experience The worse part, in CA the fine last year was $630 but are even higher now. No camera, don't sweat it.

Which of these places near/in Phoenix is better to live in?
Question:
Hi I am going to be moving to Arizona around summer time and I need some help with finding the right place. fountain hills scottsdale tempe glendale living in phoenix? preoria surprise anthem ocotillo queen creek apache junction salt river avondale litchenfield sun city lake pleasant good year chandeler gildbert mesa queen creek how is public transportation in Phoenix? Apt need to be 800 or less a month..may be able to pay a bit more I wanna live somewhere with relatively low crime. I don't want to live out in the country and have grocery stores that are to far away. I want to be able to bus or walk to the grocery store. My mom does have a car but I still want to be able to do that. I am not going to college,or at least anytime soon so I don't need to be near a university or anything. Is Tuscon better then Phoenix? Thanks And if its a place that's far away form the city(more then 15 miles or so) then I'd want the town to have a descent selection of stores.

Answer:
If your mom is working, then it's best she live close to her work. Traffic in Phoenix is awful, and it's not a good idea to live on the opposite side of town from where you work. Tempe is generally regarded as one of the best places to live in the Phoenix area. However, if you're renting, it's not ideal because you must compete with college students who drive up the property values. There are decent pockets of Phoenix, such as the area just north of Downtown along Central Avenue, or around Camelback and Paradise Valley (the neighborhood, not the town), but these tend to be very, very expensive areas. Rents are pretty cheap though. The housing crisis put a large inventory of rental houses on the market, which drove the previously overpriced apartment complexes to drop their rents significantly. I would live somewhere near the light rail though (which, again, pretty much limits you to Tempe). Public transportation is terrible if you compare it to New York, Chicago, or San Francisco but, compared to many other cities, it's decent. The light rail is the best part of it. Having a car will become a necessity for you though after your first summer of waiting for buses in 120F heat in the sun.
