Cheap cars in Alabama under 1000 dollars
Question:
Is their anywhere close to Talladega that sells cars under 1000? Anything that drives and get me where I need to go until I can afford something better.

Answer:
no $1,000 isn't enough money to buy a car that doesn't need a major overhaul. or won't beak down and leave you on the side of the road. save your money $3,000 to $4,000

Please answer.........Look at description for the Question?
Question:
In NASCAR, when you have a multi car accident like in Talladega Alabama, and say 5 cars crashed their cars really bad and are out, how does NASCAR decide who finished 43rd,42nd,41st,40th, and 39th?

Answer:
It denends on who's ahead when they crash. The field is frozen when the yellow flag comes out .Like wishbone said they score it from the last scoring loop they crossed. So like if I was 10th and you were 11th and we crashed into each other, I would finish 1 spot ahead of you. Thats why they try and get cars back out even if it's only to get a few more laps which gains them positions on the cars that can't get back out. :)

What to do for a boy's 16th birthday in Birmingham, Alabama?
Question:
My nephew is turning 16 this Thursday, and I plan on showing him around Birmingham, Alabama this Friday day/evening. He lives in Talladega and we’re going to pick him up early from school and show him around town. I’m not from Birmingham, it just happens to be the nearest city to Talladega. He’s in to Sports, Cars, Music, somewhat into video games, but overall he’ll just be excited to be in a big city. I want to give him a wholesome and pleasant big city experience, but not a zoo or (typical) museum visit. He’s totally too grown up for all that, ya know?

Answer:
a few things that you might do would be take him to the mall... out to eat at a fav place to eat.. go to the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, It's in B'ham there are lots of different cafes/lounges/sport "bar" type places that you could go to at night for him to hear live music bands Also there is the B'ham international raceway theres a drag way in steele which is not too far from Bham good luck

Dale Earnhardt Jr: Why would the other 42 other Drivers even bother to show up at Dega?
Question:
I mean lets just face it! Ralph Dale Earnhardt Jr is the greatest legend on restrictor plates, he is the most winningist driver at Talladega Superspeedway. Lets face it, if your not an Earnhardt you risk your life and limbs by showing up in a firesuit at Alabama. I would love nothing more than to see the 88 "solo" around the 2.66 mile speedway for three and a half hours. Other teams, save your cars, and parts, and just stay home this Halloween!

Answer:
I have to wonder if he could win even if he runs it 'solo'....

Oh, How I wish I was in Alabama today...?
Question:
52 teams are testing today @ Talladega w/ the C.O.T. on the high-banks of that AWESOME race track... I can't wait to see how great the racin' action is Talladega w/ the new car. I think we're in for a great, CLOSE race. This is where handling will come into factor, and we will see who, if anyone, has closed the gap on Hendrick w/ the C.O.T. This may be one of the races where a non-chase driver can steal a win also! Things are always up in the air when it comes to DEGA! http://www.nascar.com/2007/news/headlines/cup/09/09/ta lladega.test.cot/index.html Hope all you fellow NASCAR fans had a great weekend! I missed most of the Richmond race because our local dirt track had a big $2000 IMCA race and I just couldn't miss good ol' DIRT RACIN' like that! Had a show of 83 IMCA's... Not a bad night @ all... And I did DVR the race, so I didn't miss much.

Answer:
Sure would have been great.I had to work and the admission was FREE,sort of just donate a pint of blood and get a pass. "al.com/birminghamnews /sportsphotos" has pictures from the Monday COT test at Talladega. You can also go to ; "blog.al.com/blogoftomorrow"and follow the action of Tuesday testing.
