Question:
I am a member of our local volunteer rescue squad and we are needing ideas of fundraisers to do that will not cost us a whole lot i the long run to do. we have a poker run and a couple of car wash set up but that's just not enough.we are in need of new equipment and other things. we greatly appreciate any ideas of any kind that you can give. thanks so much. miranda with Cullman County Rescue Squad,Alabama

Answer:
You can put on a car show. Costs are relatively low but you have to put in a lot of pre-event work and organization. Most of your costs can be covered by getting "corporate sponsors" from local businesses. It must be well advertised and include the sponsor names. Also, have each car pay a registration fee to participate.
